Some other tips (exploits really) I’d have for people
On the Crimson Fleet quest “The Best There Is” when you’re on the Jade Swan ship, make sure to loot their ship cargo and captains chest, unless I got EXTREMELY lucky you should find like 180k in credits, resources, weapons etc, none of which will be classed as stolen.
Also for maximising storage, use / buy another ship and install as many cargo holds as you can manage, it can look absolutely ridiculous you won’t be using it, I use the UC Prison ship I got some from quest I can’t remember and I’ve got like 9300 storage capacity. Whenever you’ve got resources to dump (I bought loads just for this) go to the ship technician and make this your primary ship, empty all your resources in said ship, and switch right back. Game breaking I know, but I’m flying around in the Frontier with 3000/450 storage that can be used at any workbench, I like playing “realistically” but I’ll happily turn a blind eye for that.

      Yeah, those are interesting tips.
I personally loot everything anyway so I probably looted the crimson fleet ship and never realized if there was something special there LOL.
I haven't tried the ship swapping thing, I usually just regularly dump everything in the safe in the Lodge. I wish the workbenches in the Lodge automatically used that safe but it's not too onerous. I think this would be pretty handy early on, but at the moment I'm flying around in a Class A ship with just under 4000 cargo capacity and 97/100 manouverability.

Although some tips I've already seen in other guide videos, you did have a few unique ones... Keep up the good work...

Cheers, I don't follow what other guides are doing so there's always the possibility of some overlap.

Great video and I could use some of these tips! I just bought starfield myself! The game runs fine for the most part but everytime I start a convo with an NPC, start combat, or sometimes take the first shot, the game hangs for a good 1-3 seconds then everything proceeds like normal. I dunno if its cuz of my PC or the game aint optimized properly.
Other than that, game's a lot of fun but I need to get used to ship combat cuz this aint my strong suit. As always, I'm the sneaky rifle guy and I love that the old world rifle is an AK! xD
Also, I wonder if I need to hoard stuff like in Fallout 76 cuz I'm seeing crafting stations.

Are you using an SSD? It looks like that's a minimum requirement. Looks like those hangs are from the game searching for the sound files.
Re the rifles .. yeah, this game definitely favours Stealth sniping like in Skyrim. Make sure to get the Concealment skill, it buffs your sneak attack multipliers by 5 for ranged weapons and 10 for melee. It's definitely worth the effort.
Re the outposts .. they're basically your workshops from FO76. The point is to provide you with resources. It's not mandatory by any means but it's something you can set up to get passive resources that you can use for crafting and research. You can ignore them though, you get enough money that you can just buy stuff. instead.

@@SequentialGamer_KCD It should be in the SSD since I had the hard drive divided between the C and D drive things and every game is saved on the D drive. Either way, I can still make do on standard difficulty despite the freezes.
So far, I've been doing long slow heavy hauls just to get me close to half a 100k. I love how the game incorporated Fallout 76's style when yer over encumbered, saves me the trouble of constantly fast travelling between places to loot stuff to sell though the trips back and long and slow.
I'll definitely get the concealment skill. I'm almost always the stealthy rogue in these RPGs including DND!

@@firebatray7946 I wouldn't worry about money, you get a huge amount of cash from the quests alone. Sell loot from fights and you shouldn't need to grind for cash.

@@SequentialGamer_KCD Yeah thats the cause of my over incumbered hauls xD I keep selling every gun, spacesuit, and whatever is on a dead spacer/crimson fleet/those cult guys I kill.
I am looking for a better ship though given that I need the materials to be on the cargo hold or on my person to be accessible to use for outposts and crafting stations.

It kills me betbesda cant just give us control of companions, passive, neutral agression options and why the removed being abke to hold a and command them is beyond me

Yeah, it would be nice to have finer controls on how your companions behave.
