Hello brother. Thank you for taking your time to write a comment. As I always say, I love to read all the comments and appreciate everyone to take times to write them. I will Pin your comment on top so we can all learn one way or another. I do not have any bad intentions to put your comment on top. To respond to your comment, I have never told me kids they are dump because they make a mistake or did something wrong. I believe there is a way a civil way to help a person to learn from a mistake. I just go into BFT fishing so I still have a lot to learn and I am glad and appreciate when you or anyone show me my mistake and I will correct and be a better fisherman. I don't care what others said about the clicker should be on or off. I always love to have my clicker on even if it damage my reel. I love to hear the reel screaming and it give me joys. Each person have a preference of how to fight a fish. We have never said anything about how good we are in the video. We were just be ourselves and enjoyed our times on the water. To me, it is blessed just to be on the water with friends I enjoy with and catching fish is just a cherry on top. Of course our skills can't compare to many BFT fisherman out there and we are learning. We have been blessed with catching BFT for every trip we have gone on our boats. You can't just watching the video and can draw a conclusion of the whole picture. We did kill the fish before we took out the hooks. I edited the killing scene out because many people do not want to see or get offended by it. I do not see anything wrong with pulling the fish with the gaff into my little boat. I would really appreciate if you could tell us why it is wrong or dangerous so we learn instead of calling us DUMP. We are all just human beings and we all make mistakes in our life. If you show us in a civil way to correct our mistakes I really appreciate. I do not hate you or your comment because just your comment. I don't know you and I don't want to judge you. I would love if you say hello to me if you see me. You are just a friend I have not met yet. I do appreciate for your time to write me a comment. Good luck fishing and smile because we are all beautiful when we smile.
You need to dispatch the fish while it is in the water. Bat, spike, hammer, anything to kill the fish before the fish is brought into the boat. A fish that is over 50 lbs, can break legs if it wakes up and you have no room to get away from it. If you have three people fishing, I would have 3, probably 4 gaffs. With the small boat with less people on the boat, I would have a harpoon. This is especially true if you fish on your own. I've gone tuna fishing by myself, and needed all my gaffs, and wished I had my harpoon that day. Now I always bring it. And the more fish you land the easier it will be to put real pressure on the fish when it's straight up and down. I think inexperience makes anglers worry about losing their fish when it's close to the boat. But in truth, if you are fishing with 100-130lb, which you should be using if you have a 50W, then you can put a lot more pressure on the fish. Once you got vertical you can tighten the drag past strike. You can control the fish, and less time to land it, means the no lactic acid build up, that isn't good for the overall product . I am too old to have to keep bringing in the same line over and over again. Congratulations on the victory @@th3rmalvison445

Thanks!!
Oh man that looks like a lot of fun. A lot of team work I see. Never been tuna fishing by watching these videos I want to give it a try now.
We had a blast. More than we expected. Thanks for watching. Just get on the water, relax, enjoy your day and catching fish is a cherry on top.
247 Thuy! How long was the fight for each one?
40 minutes for the first and 20 for the second one. We trusted in our gears, FG knots so we horsed them in fast.
Amazing footage! Waiting for “color” is breathe taking…
Thank you Stephanie. You are right about fighting and waiting for the color was nerve wracking. So blessed with with the blessing.
How far did you go out to find the tuna . Thanks
35 miles straight out from Maverick, near the canyon and 8 miles south of farralon.
What kind of rod are you using on International 50 reel?
We just use cheap bend butt rods bought from West Marine. I don't know the brand because it belongs to Josh. I will ask him or he can answer you if he read this comment. Thanks for watching.
That was epic! To get 1 is a dream but to good drake tune is just unimaginable. Congrats on the awesome catch Anh Thuy!
Thanks. We were happy to get one and we were blessed with two. Very special day for me because it was on my boat for the first BFT trip.
Which brand of the bag fish do you use to store that cow? How long is that bag?
The bag is 7' long and I don't know the brand because it belongs to my friends. I will find out for you. Thanks for watching.
Congrats Anh thuy!! What’s your boat max speed? And how long did it take u guys to get to the spot?
Thank you Long. I can get to 35 mph. Took us 90 minutes to get there. 35 miles straight out from HMB and 8 miles south of farralon.
It's harder to bring the fish in while the boat is moving.
Thanks for your information. We thought it is harder to run the boat while fighting the BFT. However. Josh's genious idea of glide the fish up high to fight so the fish don't do dead spiral/circle and it will be hard to fight time 300 yards straight down. That's was why we brought the big fish on the boat fast. I love Josh's technique. It is scary, but we trust in our gear to do that. Thanks for watching.
Hai con là vừa sức rồi ha anh, mỗi lần kéo lên một con thấy mấy anh hết sức hết hơi ^^
e chúc mừng các anh, chuyến đi tuyệt vời🤩🤩🤗🤗

Yeeeeeeww!!
BFT KING !!
Chovy and Moo are going to be jealous of that one..
Lol. Moo only care about squids and Chovy only cares about Salmon and butts so they don't care. 😂. Thanks for watching. I am blessed with friends and fish. 🙏
@@Fishing247 I live in Washington state and a BFT actually washed up on Orcas Island here in the San Juan's last week. You and Keith would love salmon fishing here. Funny how Moo prefers to eat bait rather than salmon but he is the Squid King !!!
Catch em all Thuy !!!
Great video! Your front hook on the madmac is upside down. Should be facing the other way
Thanks for the tip! All the madmacs I have have hooks that way. Thanks for watching.
So cool!!
It is still unreal to me. Thanks for watching.
That was SICK!!! Josh @saltyhooker5785 is the real deal. Congrats on putting 2 bft on your boat. What a great trip
It was so nerve wracking brother. We have invested so much money and emotions into this type of fishing. Our hard works, passions, dedications, patience and many days of no sleeping paid off. Thanks brother.
