Sooo, this season, while not my favorite, was full of great scenes and character development, so yeah I decided to make my second OITNB fanvid. I wanted to focus on all the relationships, platonic or not, and how everyone is dealing with Poussey's death and the prison riot.
And yes, I didn't include Pensatucky and Coates or Boo and Linda because, yikes.

I miss her as well :( that finale when Suzanne don't wake up and Cindy hugs her tight I cried really hard when they all held hands at the end I love them all so much :(
I know the final scene with everyone in the pool at the end joining together was supposed to be the most powerful but that Flaritza split up scene fucked me up worse than that, that was bullshit...but this season was beautifully executed and leaves us hanging not knowing what will come with all the characters we love
Agree, the Flaritza scene was for me the most emotional moments and the only one that made me cry this season, along with the flashback of Taystee and Poussey's first meeting... I can't wait a whole year to know what will happen to everyone!

Piper's speech in the beginning of this was perfect. She and Tastee had the best speeches of the season!
six years later… that “welcome to prison” BROKE ME
This season was just brilliant, and as always all the cast made a mesmering job. You captured the epicness of this season and put it in a video and I'm so thankful you made me cry!

I've just finished watching this season and well... I have to oppose you. I think that this was the worst season so far. It was a mess, many characters weren't even doing anything meaningful during the whole season. Taystee was very obnoxious as well, wanting justice for HER deceased friend while ignoring that other inmates just killed a prison guard. Sure Humps was a terrible person, but still that is a double standard. They all demanded that prison guards are to treat them better in the future while they were treating their hostages like horsesh*t. This season made many characters very unlikeable, but I suppose that it was depicted sort of realistically. They complained about being sent to SHU, while they began using POO which was even worse. It was just bad for many reasons. Fortunately, there were few good storylines saving the season like Gloria's attempt to visit her son, Nazis bullying Pennsatucky was heartbreaking and Big Boo was quite funny hanging out with Linda.

Of all the seasons, this is my favorite. They have stuck together. No matter where they came from, no matter what family they belonged to, they stuck together. The cohesion was so strong until the end

Underrated season. For me this season give a chance to the show to have a new breath. Season 3 and 4 were less interesting. The writers noticed that and try with a lot of bravery a new pattern for this one. Three days and a riot. Season one was about the humanisation of prisoners and the systemic reason of why they are here. Season two show more the psychology of the inmates. This season 5 is a massive fuck you of the USA and his legislation. A fuck you to the white privilege. The speech of Tastee and the flashback of Wilson are memorables and raise one of the big problem of USA. This season also shows the mental illness. In one side with Morello, and on the other side the psychotic crise of Suzann. I find them very well wrote. Of course the season had some useless storyline but it was in general extremely well written

I usually take notes when I watch an episode but for this video I went through all the episodes again to select the best parts. Once I have the parts for all 13 episodes I go through all of them again to pick the ones I want to include over the music, and voilà!

You did a wonderful work and chose the best moments of S5 to make this. I really enjoyed the "second part" of the season because that's when it became really heavy and emotional but the first few episodes were a bit meh as far as I'm concerned. What I really appreciated though is how the show tried to put as much emphasis as possible on mental illness and the US prison system (with all its flaws!!). OITNB was really bold and I loved that.

And I wonder how people think that this is the worst season of OITNB. Season 5 is Orange's best season YET. I don't know how season 6 will be better but if they do it make it better, that'll be crazy. I can see that happening if many characters end up in different prisons which I doubt they'll do. If anything just 2 separate prisons cause of budget and some characters will miss their friends/lovers especially Martiza & Flaca.

Alright, to be honest, I am the LAST person on earth that would say something negative about Orange, but to be completely honest..
I feel like they didn't do the Daya/Bennet story justice...That was THE love story of the show, and they end it with just him leaving and thats it..? kinda lame to me.
