I think you poke the eggs to prevent them from exploding, but even with holes and just enough water Ive successfully managed to cause explosions, so be careful not to overcook😆
@@superbanananinja No, raw eggs, aren't supposed to be perfectly safe, they have high water content and WILL explode no matter how many holes you poke. if it hasn't yet, consider yourself lucky and NEVER do that again.
Pleaseee be careful with eggs in the microwave! Poking a hole helps prevent it but it can reseal while cooking and trap steam inside which will make the egg explode all over you. Looks delicious but make sure to not have them too close to your face right after cooking 😅❤
i never used microwave in my whole life until last year (bc our house dont have them) so i never knew things like this omg. glad i learned something today 😂
it is very dangerous actually. The science is explained in a video of "How To Cook That, egg exploding science" I'd suggest everyone to not use microwave to do this. Yes, there might be some people who do it often and never get eggs exploded in their faces, and am VERY glad it didn't happen, but microwave cooks from inside out unlike any other cooking medium. So I'd sugguest you and EVERYONE to just not use microwave all togther for cooking an egg. Even a hard boiled egg can burst. And pleae, don't think you can also poach your eggs in the microvae, not only will the egg explode but it will also splash BOILING water ALL OVER you. and microwave even increases the temperature of water MORE 100 hundred degree C yet it doesn't have a SIGNLE bubble in it. It's just very bad, simply chuck it in an oven, air fryer, pan, pot on induction or stove, fry it, boil it, steem in poach it, doesn't matter, but DON'T microwave it.
i do something similar to this! i do my eggs fried sunny side up and i add soy sauce and sesame oil. sometimes i add teriyaki sauce if i want it to have that sweeter flavour. mix it all with rice. literally had this for dinner for the past two days lol
I did something like this but also added a small tsp of gochujang mixed into the rice and a tbsp of chili oil. If you have time to fry the rice with garlic and gochujang even better.
I used to put raw egg in streaming hot rice. The heat of the rice cooks the egg creamy style + soy sauce + sesame oil + other garnishment (I.e spring onion galore!). It starts as a lazy meal, then it gets fancier each topping at a time haha😅
So I have recipe for u guys which is vary easy to try 1. Take 2 egg break them and mix them and Put some ingredient like turmeric, salt, and spicy powder 2. Take the amount of rice u want 3. Put some ghee in the rice mix it 4. Take a pan and turn it on and put some ghee 5. Put the egg recipe first then the rice and start mixing 6. Keep steering it for some minutes till it looks like cooked 😅 7. Done no hate pls
You just gave me the perfect dinner plan jsjsjs I need to eat quick so I can take my meds and sleep but I was not feeling like cooking at all jsjsskjdks
i subsisted off this meal for about a year. not the best idea to just eat this, but omg i was happy everyday bc i felt like id cooked and i was full. id sometimes get fancy and add frozen veg into the rice, some garlic, and some chilli into the rice cooker to get fancy and add "vitamins, minerals and fiber" whatever that means. seriously recommend this meal if ur just not in the mood to eat, ur feeling lazy, u don't want to get takeout, or everything just feels unappetising. its just so comforting and filling. 10/10 meal.
Do b careful microwaving egg! Not only do the yolk and white parts cook at dif time, it can explode. When I microwave my eggs, I'll put a lid on top (not closed but just to cover the egg) and do it in smaller time bursts. I also keep an eye on it to see how much the egg is expanding because that's a sign it might explode.
I tried this, and it's really good! Accidentally overcooked the yolks, but it is what it is. Was worried the sesame seed oil and the butter would be too oily together, but it surprisingly isn't at all
if someone plans to replicate please be aware that eggs can actually explode in the microwave and you are at risk of burn injuries. Having safety warnings in the video would be nice.
No. They explode cause the yolk is intact or the shell. It's why you only break it w chopsticks just before microwaving it to cook it but still get a runny egg 🥚 🍳
@@Im_the_best.Ak_15well just because you’ve seen many videos of eggs exploding doesn’t really mean much. You can microwave eggs and be completely fine if you do it correctly
@@mikiwilliams4133 actually, yolk isn't the problem. The thing is, microwave heats the food from inside out but vibrating the water molecules, which produce heat, that futher produce steam, and since egg is made up of motly water, it is VERY likely to explode, a poke in a yolk WON'T help. You can have a clear insight on this on "How To Cook That, egg exploding science" video, the creator of the channel Anne Reardon, is a food scientist and explains it way better than I would, she also shows th ephysical proof that eggs do explode EVEN if you poke it, and many more variable. Please give the video a watch. Hpe this helps!
This recipe is seriously a lifesaver for lazy days! 😄 I love how quick and easy it is, plus kimchi makes everything better. Why do I always forget about soy sauce eggs? 😂 Gonna try this for dinner tonight! 🍳✨
Wow I made it and it is SO good the only problem is the egg explosions so here is a tip: if you put a plastic bag on top it does not explode but foams up a lil so as u open the microwave door let it sit for a few seconds ☺️👌
As a Korean who does eat this when I’m feeling lazy, I also want to add that you can just fry the eggs sunny side up, as well, but this is pretty good for people who are even lazier than that. Good job on the vid!!❤
This is so similar to my easy meal!! I just get some rice and mix in toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, and mayo. Then i fry an egg or two. If i have it ill put in green onion and/or kimchi!! Its great!!
Korean radish kimchi just gives the kick I need in my rice dishes. I love it. We have very similar thing in my country that we eat but it uses lots of oil to make it. So I find Korean radish healthier
I cook eggs in the microwave too! Just like she said make sure to poke a hole in the yolk, have liquid (to help cook it) and put a plate over it to cover it or else it might explode and takes forever to clean (it sticks to ur microwave like crazy). This recipe looks delicious!

Raw eggs should be perfectly safe in the microwave, it's boiled eggs that can be very dangerous when microwaved
Yep same.... I got told to put wholes on the yolk for a recipe and the egg exploded 😢

yes!!!! my grandma permanently lost most of her hair after a bad burning accident doing this, please be careful y’all
Poking the hole is enough, the issue is not microwaving for 30 second bursts. Most eggs I've made are hard in 1 minute lol
