What colour and type of carpet have you got in the living room please?
Ceilings are always too low in those new build
Check out redrow, they have much higher ceilings
Some builders have higher ceilings

The quality of new builds is appalling. Very, very few are to an acceptable standard. And you can’t judge this one from a video.
