how are you going to keep the main bearings in the dirt bike engine lubricated? because the way they use to be lubricated was from the gas and oil mix from when the engine ran they are not lubricated by the transmission oil

think the pipe is used for firesuppression systems to get rid of the galvanizing dunk the pipes in a bucket filled with a caustic liquid like toilet bowl cleaner

Hey man. I've been watching you for a while and watched you go through all the mistakes and good times I went through as a younger mech/tech. I've used this method for years and it works really good.( if done right) It hit me one day while rebuilding a 125 Elsinore that it would make a great gearbox/clutch. I buy every blown up old 2 stroke I can find. 2 stroke is better because of the oil pump on the 4 stroke has to be deal with, and some are a pain. Great job with the mill. I'm currently building a 12hp Tecumseh whacked out to at least 14hp on a skateboard. I found a way to make it have front and rear steering whilst not giving away any strength or stability. 10" rears 8s up front and a Burton snowboard chopped to fit as a floor pan keeping the binding mounts the same. By my math it should top 90klm easily. Scary as frig.

you need to put oil in the crankcase of the 2 stroke. if not the bearings wont be lubricated

even if you put oil in the case where the crank shaft use to be how is the oil going to reach the bearings

I agree with Allen Roberts. But I donor stand why you don't just use a motorcycle frame and then modify it from there
use vinegar/water solution along with sandpaper or brillo/steelwool it will remove the galvanized coating on the schedule piping
I feel like this idea has become more and more popular ever since William staton did this, this thing will be very cool once it's finished
