Hey Seth! Changing my entire system to fujifilm was the best thing I could do for my personal work, as well as youtube. Definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made. I own an X-T4, tried out an 100V a few months ago and I think I'll definitely have to pick one up for myself as well. Just got this video recommended to me and it was definitely worth it! Keep up the great work man! 👊
That’s awesome! The xt4 is great camera! If you don’t already have one, I’ve got to recommend the 35mm f2. It’s one of Fuji’s best lenses imo. I’ve had once since 2016. The x100v is such a great camera and it’ll make an excellent companion to your xt4. Thank you so much for watching and the encouragement!
@@sethpotterphoto I only have two lenses, the 16mm 2.8 (which I primarly use to shoot video) and the 35mm f2, which is definitely an amazing lens and I completely agree with you!
I was not expecting much with your intro as a first time camera reviewer and TH-cam presenter. However, I was really surprised. Nice review and I really liked some of your images. A lot of talent behind the camera. Very well done. Keep up the good work. I have subscribed looking for more. Cheers.
OK, l'm a bit late to this one - 12 days! Nice start to your Tube life. The camera is all you say it is. The updates over the X100F were enough to persuade me to get one even though I didn't actually need one. (The only X100 I haven't owned is the X100S) Otherwise, as you say, it's just the best camera for having with you all the time. Image quality is top notch, film simulations are cool and the street cred gained from being seen with one is huge. I agree that the black version is the best - it looks great on my screen, certainly not a "black Blob" - and l have customised mine as you have with a red shutter release button and a squared off hood. Is an APS-C, 26MP sensor good enough for creating outstanding photographs? Of course it is. I use Sony Full-frame with Zeiss Batis lenses for my professional work. I also use my X100V. Suggestions? Maybe get a manicure?🤣
Awesome comment and thank you! The difference between the x100f and V aren’t minimal. The 4 stop nd and optional weather sealing are just fantastic. Also I know my finger nails are terrible. I’ve been chewing them since I was little and it’s been a tough habit for me to break! I’m working on it though!
What lenses do you like using on the X-Pro3? Thinking about getting the new XF 33mm f1.4. Currently have the XF 50mm f1 with the X100V, but I don’t want to be lugging that lens around all the time. 😅
Hmm, well the 35mm f2 is probably my all time favorite Fuji lens for the xpro cameras just because it was the first lens I purchased alongside my xpro2 in 2016. Since you sound like you want something light any of the f2 “fujicrons” will serve you extremely well. The 23mm f2 or 16mm f2.8 would be a really nice compliment to your 50mm f1. That 50mm f1 is a very nice lens but it is quite heavy! I don’t have any experience with the 33mm f1.4 so I can’t comment on that lens but from what I’ve heard it wouldn’t let you down.
Seth is that a UV filter? Toss it out, with a hood no need for protection, all you are doing is adding more glass in front of glass. In my 25 years of professional work, I have never ever used one, always have a hood and be aware of where you point your camera. UV filters are just placebo money grabbers for camera shops, they serve no purpose.
Not a UV filter. I’ve never purchased one. It’s a Tiffen 1/8 black pro mist. I use it because I love the look it bakes into the images. I just adore the way the 1/8 makes the highlights bloom in such a beautiful subtle way. Thanks for the tip. Also just for your reference, the Fuji film x100v requires a filter of some sort to be installed in order to achieve weather sealing. Without the filter the x100v is only partially weather sealed.

Thank you very much! That’s encouraging. I was quite nervous recording this.

Great review! Loved it
Thank you! I’m planning a few more for the future. Especially of Fuji gear.
Oh man, fantastic review !!! I´d like this camera
Hey, thanks! I hope you can get one, it really is a great camera.
@@sethpotterphotonext month I will have the money to buy it.
Thats for posting..

Since the camera is black it shows up as a black blob. Put reflector(s) in front to give it something to reflect.
Thanks for tip and thank you for commenting.
Which camera is used for the video? I love the color, clear
If I remember correctly I used a Fuji xt2 to capture this video. I also used mastin labs LUTs. The Kodak gold one specifically.
Great video and easy watch. Only suggestion I have is maybe keep the images up longer throughout the video.
Thank you, I figured people could just pause if they wanted to see images more but ill take your advice for the next video.

@@sethpotterphoto Fair call on the sealing aspect. Good to see its a pro mist. thanks for the reply.
