    Hi, i enjoyed watching that.
I have a question, i have a teak deck on my boat, the wood is 20+ years old. The previous owners have used bitumen to seal the deck. The old traditional heating up of the tar bricks then careful pouring it in the seams. I believe the last time the deck was fully recaulked was around 3 years ago. Unfortunately the deck is very much not waterproof, the caulking is brittle and crumbles away put off the seams. I'd like to take all of this out and replace with sikaflex. I know not traditional but I'm hoping would be more waterproof. I've heard that this won't stick to the planking as the wood would be full of oil from previously using bitumen. Can you advise? I want to keep the deck planking and not resort to fiber glass, however the boat is unliveable when not water tight
