i love this spot for bait and just for relaxing trip i have a few other local spots that might spark your intrest for winter tight lines as always another good video and hope you had a good weekend
Brother your channel is "FISH" & Trips. Not catch & trips. It's all in the delivery... I keep watching cuz you keep trying. 60 years old and I've had more fishing trips than I have catching trips... keep doing what you do we'll keep watching. "Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya"
My friend, I appreciate the videos more than you'll ever know because I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME. Freshwater fish are bougie and like structure, so I'm sinking 'Green Blob fish barrels' along the banks where I want to fish. The Crappie House in Somerville, Texas, has sunk Christmas trees, and I've seen many Crappie and Bream pulled from those holes. I just don't like elbow-to-elbow fishing. I'll let you know how it pans out. Hang in there.
Ranell, You're still the man. No matter what the outcome is. Your channel is very entertaining. This is why you have so many viewers. Its very entertaining for sure. Freashwater fishing is not supposed to be easy like saltwater fishing. It's a challenge; thats why we keep on going back for more. Keep bringing on the videos. As the words of another you tuber would say" Never stop fishing" or something like that. Until the next adventure. ✌️ out!
Another banger video!!! LOL! Dude you rock. We've all been there watching other people catching and you throwing the same thing and getting nothing. Respect for your grind game.
😎What it DO? Try taking lighter tackle for freshwater. I have rods and reels strictly for either Salt or freshwater. Other than that, keep grindin. The white bass run is coming up next month. Usually pull in a few crappie as well. You know JJ is always a winner. Who knows, might see you out there this run! PEEEEEEACE!✌🏾💯💯💯
I’m rocking with you, like you said that is why it’s call fishing not catching! People can front like they catch fish every trip, but you know that isn’t true lol
Lol this is facts, because 90% of TH-camrs won't post a skunk video. Then again, I think 90% of TH-camrs don't have enough personality to make a video entertaining unless they are catching fish.🤔
Keep on keepin on man. Freshwater can be rough. I've been hitting a new spot off 8 and Hiram Clarke. Anderson Lakes. Nice little new subdivision with a decent pond. Not a lot of traffic out there and those that do go seem to pick up after themselves. 1-2 lb bass and decent cats out there.
I was there when you were a sorry ass sw fisherman, and i lived through that! 😂😂😂 Freshwater pisses me off, like bad.. so i feel you. Can't stop now, Brother. You are famous. No breaks. Keep pushing content out. You got this. Last but not least, not too bad with the cast net Felicia! 😝
We all get skunked, bro. I'll hang with you through limits and empty stringers. Just try this the next time you go carp fishing. Buy you a box of bran flakes cereal. I used to buy raisin bran and eat the raisins as I went. Get a big handful of the bran flakes, and pour some big red soda in your hand and just keep squeezing it down into a ball. Use a small treble (#10 or #12) Form the ball around the treble till no barbs show. I would never use any weight at all, but I was pond fishing. May need weight in a current. Cast it out and let it set. Click the bail, or you might lose your rod. I used to catch ice chests of carp this way. Tight lines!
@@TheFishAndTrips I used to fill a 48 qt. ice chest full of carp and buffalo in less than an hour. This recipe works. Its how I made my walking around money when I was a kid.
Well, this was 50+ years ago. There was a market for them. May still be. Either I sold them for cash, or went to a local liquor store and traded them for some 80 proof adult beverages.@@TheFishAndTrips
it's all good on my in man catch or not. I live it sometimes myself soo, yea you good here. Have you tried any part on the Brazos River yet? with the resent rains maybe the levels are back up, map it and see if any part of it catches your eye. when I lived in Katy stephen F Austin state park was Cool. But Brazos runs for miles so part of it might be close to your area.
@TheFishAndTrips no there's 3 stocked lakes south of there in between the buildings. That was back in the 90s and now they have new apartments there so I don't know if you can fish there anymore. I can drive by and see if you want because I live very close
@@TheFishAndTrips I'm in Dallas. I looked it up. I thought it was only legal to cast net for bait but i was wrong. As long as its not game fish its all good. Would catfish be considered game fish?
"While the blue, channel and flathead catfishes are common game fish in Texas, the Lonestar State is also home to several other species of freshwater catfish"
Thirdward safe after dark😂
Try Brays bayou near Mason park. SE side. off of 75 st./Harrisburg

I’m rocking with you catch or not. Live in Houston but😊 just started fishing here and you’re helping me figure out places to fish. Catch or not

Man, I haven't been to Hiram Clark in years. AKA one of the original hoods.
Catch or not catch, still love the videos. BTW, sheepshead are biting at the jetties. Maybe get back to the saltwater game. 🎣
Might have to
Good video…..try the bayou spots downtown by UHD. Should be able to pull a cat out from down there.
It’s all good bro should of caught that manatee in downtown buffalo bayou 😂😂😂

Just checked via Google maps and the 3 lakes are still there, but so are signs that say private property.🙄
@TheFishAndTrips yes once again the rich snobs have ruined it
Still gave it a like 👍
Thanks!

Did dude just admit to illegally fishing with a cast net?
