Kodiak Bear Living in my Backyard!

In this video, I’ll share with you the tale of big Kodiak brown bear that lived in my backyard for several winters. Upon moving to Kodiak Island Alaska, I learned a lot about bear hibernation, especially that not all bears hibernate throughout the entire winter, or at all. This bear came to town to eat dirty diapers and trash, drink beer, and live in the woods of my backyard. He was an old, crafty bear that eluded the authorities for many years, as Alaska State Troopers, Alaska Fish and Game, and local police all tried to drive him out of town on a regular basis.
