Definitely a dream build! Only thing i personally would do is 212 upgrade, make some sweet custom carbon fenders and maybe some nicer calipers. Otherwise she is bloody mint man!
Hellyeah..honestly the 190 is more than enough if you’re a good rider, personally i dont think i need the extra power but maybe if i ever smoke this top end ill do a 212 kit…I did just make some custom carbon fork guards (just uploaded that video!) and added a few other bits i will be showing in my next video of the brake upgrade i just got done doing…new calipers, rotors the whole 9! Bigger too 🤫🤣
Its hard to say for sure but i bet there comparable, the daytona engine runs pretty smooth i would say. There isn’t that much vibration on this bike but this also isn’t a YCF so i couldn’t say for sure one way or the other unfortunately but if i was you ide probably regret selling the KDX
@@TomHanson-u1p just waiting on a few more parts to come in and trying to get my hands one a decent tig/mig welder so i can make a custom exhaust and intake for that LXR as well as do some more custom fabrication
Nice build tones of nice parts bbr makes nice stuff ever think about making it fuel injection and a standard alone ecu like a A racer set up. Cdi a just able slipper clutch. Possibly a electric fan if you can't go dual radiator ? Port match everything port and polished head ss valve s 212 bbk kit thing will be a little monster that for sure. O ya FYI try only using the electronic start only. Kick if not done right it tends to be hard on the gear box on the 5 speeds.
Thanks man i appreciate it!! Yeah i definitely have thought about it but its to much added weight to go EFI, and i dont have a problem running the carb setup. Honestly the stock 190cc makes more than enough power. I like to leave them stock bc they tend to last longer than when you build them. I wouldn’t recommend the e start or the 5 speed engines there not as strong as the 4 speed non e start engines are. I run the genuine Daytona engines either the FDX & FLX…
Hello mate, how did you get ypur carb settings as they are? Your running 118 main and 48 pilot.. on the daytona website carb settings it recommends 122 main and 38 pilot? Did ypu do testing and got to the jets you use now or did the carb come with them allready fitted etc or did you start with daytonas recommendations and tune the what you use now? Or are your settings down to the temp of were you live etc? Also is the rngine your using a 4 speed? Light rotor or heavy rotor as described on daytona website? Sorry for the billion questions just youve helped abit and not many people like to help much around here and ypur wngine sounds sweet and this is what i am after! Much appreciated brother 🙏 @@JesseK410
Hey, Wasup! … So yeah i was running that jetting for a wile until i changed to the PWK carb…Now im running a PWK 28mm with a 42 pilot jet (48 pilot was a lil rich but adjusted the air fuel screw to compensate for that, now its at 1.5 turns from closed with the 42) & 120 main jet bc its a lil colder this time of year. In the colder weather the bikes tend to run leaner so the 118 main iet is good for summer time. The spark plug never lies so make sure to always do plug readings preferably with a fresh spark plug so u can actually read it. I am running the FDX 4 speed and its got the heavier rotor which i prefer over the small lighter one. Still revs up nicely i think an goes thru turns so smooth. I always tune to the environment im riding it to get the best possible outcome. It all depends on the temperature and elevation at the time so the daytona specs is just a good starting point and also they leave them on the rich side so you dont run it to lean yaknow. No worries i dont mind answering questions it only helps other people out reading an watching the video so im happy to help Mate! 🇺🇸🏁👍🏼😎
@JesseK410 awesome that's helps alot.. I shall 8 with the daytona settings and work from there then if its all down to environment as there temps are roughly what ours are u less its mid summer but our summers aren't allways that great it is Britain 😂 also off top of your head do you know if your engine is light rotor or heavy rotor as there is 2 types to buy.. and is yours 4 speed? Thanks man you are a legend 🙌
@hammondz83 i went back an edited the comment i forgot to mention that but yeah i am running the factory daytona fdx rotor witch is the larger one, the small ones i always heard were knockoff chain daytona engines. All my daytonas are genuine and have came with the larger heavier rotor. Thats the one you want… there is small differences in a genuine daytona engine and a knock off one
@JesseK410 OK sweet man much appreciated.. il have to have a look out and make sure I'm not getting no fake engine then.. and il make sure its the heavy rotor.. theres a company near me called parker racing I shall see if there's are genuine.. hopefully they are! Much appreciated man youve been a legend 👏👏👊👊🤟🤟
I had the IRC on before but i ended up switching to this Mitas Terra force front tire its a better tire than the IRC is for sure i would recommend this one
Nice job & nice factory look touches🏆
I appreciate it thank you! 🇺🇸🤙🏼
That’s such a sick build. So clean. I love it
Appreciate it! 🤙🏼
looks and sounds 10 000 times better than my 120€ chinese pitbike that i finished building a engine for yesterday 😂
Hahaha. Thanks! 🤘🏼 what engine did you build for it?
Super dope, I love all your vids. But your pitbike builds are so sick
Glad you like them! I appreciate the kind words 🙏🏼🤙🏼

I'm thinking of selling my kdx220 for ycf pit bike with daytona 190. Will the 190 vibrate like the kdx? -thats why I'm selling the kdx.

Bikes so sick, super clean build so far! When’s that 4.1 going on? Bikes going to look insane with it on.
That’s actually the LXR build im working on as we speak haha, different build all together but its going on there soon!

hey man, sick ripper, just wondering about how many degrees the throttle is from 0 throttle to 100%
Im not sure on degrees but its a 1/4 turn throttle i believe
Hey I found a ssr slow racer for 1,200$. You think that chassis is better than the 170tx?
It depends if you like the klx plastics or the crf
Klx for sure
Lol I like the way you put that
@Kroviakjm where did you see the slowracer for sale though im curious
Out here in Los Angeles where I live
