    I was down there last week exploring dual sport routes on my T7. Awesome time!

      I'll bet, it's a great time of the year to be there. How were the water levels? I'm looking to get back soon.

      @@jasenhicks water levels were good since it hadn't rained much recently! Still above the axles in places, but my feet stayed dry in waterproof boots!
      I was thankful the forest trails were mostly dry with my stock tires (which were great on the awesome pavement around there!), But all the rocks and gravel probably means there's always some traction.

    Really nice video, of a cool area. I used to ride dirt bikes off road nearly every weekend back in the day. Well, Way back in the day, cuz i'm old as dirt, and can no longer safely ride like this. I can barely ride on the street, so i look forward to every moment i get on two wheels, cuz someday soon, its all gonna end !

    An excellent video Jason. Enjoyed every moment until the part where your bike's sprocket seal sprung a leak. Itchy Boot should be afraid! :>)

      She's safe. I don't have the time she has, the skills she has, and I'm nowhere near as attractive as her.

      She would say "Oh Dear" & then start laughing, the extent of her complaining.

    Did y’all go up Cave Mountain road to Red Star? Looks like it at times. I’m a local kinda. I used to live in Newton County for 10 years. I’m in Eureka Springs now.

      Not sure, we just kept picking roads off the gps or seeing something and running off to see where it goes. Not completely familiar with the area. Here's our tracks on google maps if it helps you figure it out.

      @@jasenhicks I’d like to show you around sometime. There’s also a great place to eat at Low Gap. It’s more of a gourmet evening meal kinda place. I still own an acre 5 miles from Ponca.

      @@mechcavandy986 I'd like that, might take you up on that, I'm needing an Arkansas weekend for sure.

    That looks like an awesome adventure, and great video. We are thinking about heading to AR this spring. Would you be willing to share the gpx tracks of your ride so we could check it out?

      Here's a link to google maps with each day a different color/layer. Enjoy, beautiful place to ride.

    Hello Jason. What tank are you running on the DRZ?

    • @jasenhicks
      @jasenhicks  ปีที่แล้ว

      The tanks are specific to whether you have an E model or an S. I have an E and that is the 3.7 gallon Acerbis tank. I like that it has two petcocks, one on each side so you don't have to lean the bike over to get the last of the gas.
