Beautiful stuff mate, wonderful to see the system I call home producing fish, especially ones of that size on topwater. Great job persisting and seeing it through. I cannot agree more about the release of all Jacks, too rare and beautiful of a fish to keep down here. I would however argue that the majority of us fishos show the same respect to them like you did here - its just the obnoxious minority that boast about keeping too many fish cheers
Getting a few a week..up to 70+, don't bother measuring, all taste good..🍻 and great to see you on the weekend re runs in fnq with one of my best buddies, Mikey finding you some fish...prob an old episode, but he's still out there...just lucky he liked you, apparently sharks stripping your rod as you get your fish up is a source of great amusement at times....😉😂

Great video caught my first jack in the tweed at 52cm years ago.
I would like to see the fish back in the water sooner not sure if it's just the filming though and maybe not hanging it off the lip grips.
My 3 favorite fish to catch on lures bass jacks n jew PB bass 52cm casino nsw river caught on a $2 crank bait from casino outdoors my PB jack 42cm on zman diesel minnow at iluka nsw in the river while chasing flathead my PB jew 121cm off the wall at east ballina on a jew lure locally made by a guy in iluka brought at iluka tackle store
