►My first synth in years! This synth is based off of Trojan Nuclear Power Plant's 1984 siren system after Whelen WS-3000s were installed. I tested out a new subtractive synthesis algorithm using FL Studio 20's 3xOSC plugin. Windups and winddowns were crafted by hand using simple trial and error. Sirens heard in this synth include a Whelen WS-3000 with the pre-864 controller, three Thunderbolt 1000s, a Model 5, STH-10, STL-10, and a Model 2. More synths coming soon!

I did some research on the old system and I discovered an ACA Allertor in Rainier, Oregon which I’m assuming was part of the old Trojan warning system and there’s also a sterling M10 I think it is that I saw at the BNSF yard in Woodland I physically remember seeing

      Streetview to the Allertor?

@@I_also_like_sirens_hehe unfortunately I have no idea of the Condition of the Allertor in Rainier and I haven’t seen the M-10 in a while so I’m assuming they must have been taken down which in my opinion is a mistake.

I strongly think the remnants of this old system are on the border of northern Oregan and southern Washington. In kelso and longview washington. My speculation is that their all inactive and just sitting there rotting in place.

There are in fact inactive sirens in that area. I've been to one of the Thunderbolts, and saw a Whelen down the street (which was removed for private possession)

How do you get the overall tone right? I've been trying and can't figure it out!

There are a few things to take into account. I used a synthesizer that has three oscillators. The first one was a sawtooth, the second one a sine, and the third one a sine with the volume set low and the pitch turned down four semitones (to produce a 4/5-like sound). I added a little distortion, some EQ to cut off the low end, and rotation effects!
