I’m actually going to be changing what’s on my comic rack soon. I’ll do a video of what is up there now and what I decide to change it to. Love that you do that too.
People always ask, "What do you mean by Jambo Style" when I show my comics off where the comic is on a stand and you can't see my face. I think that is a great way to show the comic. Where the comic front and center and I got the idea for you so thank you.
Fun video! Nice to see the Essential Tour of your comic room! Love the nooks with the mini-busts and the comic behind them the best! Looking forward to what Stevey D. shows as well. Nice that you have a whole room for your goodies for sure! Collecting a lot of books does require an independent space if your a serious collector for sure! The glare thing is like my arch-nemesis. Still trying to figure that out. Glad to see another vid from you Mr. A! As always, looking forward to the next one!
@@WhatIsOntheComicRack No rush brother! Quick question for you. I found an older TOS with IM in his gold armor. It is not in great condition at all. Would you want something like that to put behind your Gold Armor bust? I thought about sending it already, but it's not the best quality, and I didn't know if you already had one of those early issues.
@@WhatIsOntheComicRack Let me find it first among a box of random books I have. No worries about the value, it is like a 1.8 or 2.0 at best. I would send it for free, and if you ever have an older 12 cent BM in the same condition, you could send it my way if that works! 😁
Yes a whole box of New Universe. When it first came out I read everything but as it went on it became harder and harder to find at gas stations and grocery stores especially as the titles began to be cancelled. Star Brand was the last one I remember being able to find on the selves.
Excellent room tour Mr. Akins. The shelf displays are awesome. I'm always amazed at how many comics people have. I definitely need to organize my room but also my collection. I have books all over the place in no order. Lol. Maybe that could be a new video series for me, organizing my crap. Lol. 😂. 👊🏼.
While it may seem I am organized I could do better. Maybe this summer I can set aside some time to organize those boxes I have yet to organize. After I make a video, the books are everywhere again. Setting aside time to make a video also requires me to set aside time to put things back where they belong.
Most of my comics are Marvel, then DC, and then a lot of 90s independent comics. Seems independent modern comics are making a comeback. They seem to be on Coverprice's Top 10 list all the time.
There is a comic book TH-camr that goes by the name Jambo Comics and you never see his face. He just presents his books on a stand and talks about them. So when I present my books close-up and you can't see my face, I just call it Jambo Style. Thank for watching. Glad you enjoyed the tour.
The rack was from my sister who used to own a teacher supply store. The rack was for books and once she closed her store a couple of years ago I was able to get it. i love the fact that slabs are able to fit in the slots.
@@WhatIsOntheComicRack I mainly watch Ed Greenwood's channel, as well as Greyhawk Grognard. I am subscribed to the main D&D channel, but I haven't really watched much for that channel yet.

The few slabs I have are a mainstay buy the raws get changed every time I get new comics in or comics I am going to make a video about.
Great setup, Mr. Akins!
Thanks Dan. Hope you are doing well and eating some wonderful sushi!
Did someone say John Byrne- I could've sworn...
I have to admit ... I have been saying it alot.
Great Comic Book room. Thanks for the tour.

Got yours in the can as well. Will be out next Friday. Trying to space these things out.

@@SonOfCrom-1932 I'm always looking for any TOS issues. How much do you need to get it? Low grade is better than no grade!

Someone else who likes New Universe! Cool. Right?
Also great see you collect/play Dungeons and Dragons! That's my main obsession. I've been hunting for all the old D&D comics.
When the New Universe came out it was a must have at the time.
@@Bel_Izeard What D&D content do you watch on TH-cam? I actually cut the parts of the video where I was showing my D&D and other role-playing games.
