Nuclear power plants do not have to be these huge buildings like Chernobyl. Duke energy in the United States has come up with a modern design where it is just multiple 10 by 10 size buildings. So if disaster ever hits it, it will only affect a very small area. But more importantly they still give off a lot of power
Ignoring the intellectual limitations of Labor politicians and their restrictive ideologies, a major problem that they have created is the job growth in the delivery and installation sectors to build extensive solar and wind farms with new transmission lines. All of these jobs add up in the government feel good politics and all of them are (probably) under Trade Union control. Trade Unions do not have divisions for the nuclear industries and workers needed for nuclear power stations. The Unions do not understand nuclear; they would need a decade to position themselves to accept nuclear energy. The Unions control the Australian Labor Party and the future of Australian Industry?
So you want Albo to tell Australians to pay 8 times more for their power bills 2 decades from now huh, Morron? Why not. It's not like he'll be PM till then so why not throw a whole lotta tax payer money into an obsolete system and not be around to be held accountable. Didn't think that through, did you? ;)
'Net Zero' means zero economic growth. So true.
Why does the economy need to grow though! when you can just make it better.
@@Theillusionist-v8m lol. Yea, they are related. Hey, I like doing more using less electricity as the technology advances but no good to be stagnate.

Fat chance of Labor getting on board with nuclear.
Are the ALP the "No no no" party? 😉

I won’t be voting for nuclear. Let’s follow the money.
What money? Trillions wasted on solar and wind. Unreliables that can't power anything at night.
