I got back into hl recently, and I found out that the hologram assistant is somewhat present. You can make her look in a different direction, though I don't know how I did it. It could've been the explosives, snarks, or hornets I was sending her way. The snarks interested me the most because they seemed to acknowledge her presence, but I don't know if this is a feature, or an oversight on valves part. hl will always hold a special place in my heart, because I grew up on it, so I have nostalgia for it, and it's a great game, but I've also started submitting official Speedruns for the game. I tried to find any mention of this for years, but could'nt. in the chapter where you encounter the ichthyosaurus, there is that cage where you can pick up the crossbow, if you stand on top of it, look down and press the activate button your suits energy will charge. I tried it multiple times and it always worked. I dont know how to explain it, sorry for bad english. edit: in th-cam.com/video/yo8X7EA6UuI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=BigMacDavis this video at 9:12 you can see the thing you have to press to charge your suit up, tried it again, and it works.

Oh hey, those horror sounds were put together & used for the horde alert in the original Left 4 Dead !

its a cycler(_actor) which means it changes animation when attacked, that's normal in goldsrc mapping
