Different strokes for different folks . Plus most people lived wasted lives do disliking the masters of art gives them a slight dopamine hit
What a way to make a living. Look at how much fun they're having. 😊😄
43:03 "Man, imagine if we all get together and formed a company" lol he didnt know
They've already being doing their own comics at Image at that point 😂 He was just making a joke
This was filmed after they left or close to it. They already had the image idea at this point.
42:07 "if in doubt, black it out", dude I was doing that same thing in my high school notebooks to hide anatomy errors as I always did my drawings with a simple BIC pen unaware that professional artists start out with a pencil doddle first and I had no idea that Wally Wood came up with that.
Just because someone doesn’t draw well that doesn’t mean you should hate their guts rob is still a nice guy cut him some slack he invented Deadpool
iBISKIT 1 BIG FACTS
He didnt! he just made a clone of Deathstroke!
@@darwinsimmons7691 some of his drawings are actually pretty good especially now since he's sorta perfected it. Have you seen his new absolute Carnage cover? It's absolutely badass
And Cable.
@@Jose-se9pu Deadpool's long since evolved into being much more than that. Now, he's arguably cooler and more popular than Deathstroke(even though I like both characters).
10:44 IMAGE COMICS. nuff said
Man this brings back memories!!! I had the Jim Lee vhs tape and thought I was in HOG-HEAVEN!!!! LOL!!! I must have watched it a gazillion times!!! Wish they'd come out with some similar dvds but undated tho.
i like how liedfeld and mcfarlane talk about random lines they add. EVERYONE seems to complain that they do that. but they themselves say you really shouldnt do it. i always saw it as an artistic expression..like how they described. and liefeld could draw very well..i think some of his off drawings were done on purpose. people hate jim lee for the same reason. dunno why. all their art is amazing and VERY technical. great upload btw thanks so much for it!
I feel like Whilce Portacio is brilliant as well, and he should be given credit
Let's be real, Lee is the only technical one.
People can complain about Liefeld all they want, but keep in mind that he was accepted in a time when publishers did not just allow anyone to join the industry.
lol this is so early 90s, especially that denim todds wearing lol. Awesome video though, their style definitely influenced me a lot.
They're having a lot of fun. Looks like a cool job to have as long as you can stay on top of churning out lots of work to meet all your deadlines. But if you love comics and have a talent for drawing or artist abilities this is the dream job. I would love to be an action figure creator, too. I would love to be able to make the absolute most awesome figures that match perfectly the pages of the comics or maybe the movies, too.
This is some very valuable and priceless video, thanks for sharing!
my 14yr old self jumping with joy right now
I don't know how, but seeing artists at their workspaces really motivates me.
RIP Stan!
Oh look it's Christian Bale and Matt Damon
Shit now I can’t unsee it
Bale could probably mimic Todd's voice, too.
@@mikemars2112 how do you know?
@@brucewayne2184 I don't "know," which is why I said probably. This is based on Bale's ability to do different accents and voices.
Todd looks like Cher
This was awesome. Just some dudes hanging out and drawing. 😎
When was this recorded? It’s Stan Lee, but there’s drawings of Spawn and Shaft from Youngblood on the table. So this was clearly after they left Marvel and started Image 🤔
the most amazing part of this video is when Todd ironically makes fun of robs haircut lol
“Which is about the size of Rob’s ego.”
OMG I CAN’T🤣🤣
I love how mcfarlane is just fucking with liefeld the whole time
Poor Rob, that's how I'd feel trying to compete with my idol....my artistic god Jim Lee!!
I'm so glad I srumbled on this. Denim and talent.
Love seeing the San Jose Sharks shirt being demonstrated 🔥
