Nice! This whole historical wargame drama has motivated me to finally put together my Konflikt 47 Wehrmacht set. I even bought a US Airborne set so I don’t become indoctrinated by my minis.
A big weakness with the big cats, like the Tiger, is robbing you of order dice. It means you can get out activated in most games of Bolt Action.

Theres a special rule you forgot: When you move, you roll a dice and if you roll a 1, the transmissions fail 😂

well, I am an Austrian Citizen and a painter. Damn luck I play the brits in bolt action. WW3 narrowly avoided
God I hope not, I run mine nearly every game with my germans
The Tiger is awesome as a kit & gives your opponent something to think about, I have 2 of them & had mixed results. Unfortunately your opponent does not need to "kill" the Tiger, they just needs to Pin it multiple time to make it useless, unless you have a LT near by to help with a rally. I personally would rather take a Pz4, Flak 38 & Puma instead of the Tiger, as you get more guns on the table & you get 3 order dice instead of the 1 order dice if you went with the Tiger.

The model looks really nice. Though all the bolt action vehicles look nice. If I bought one would probably end up painting it in very not historical tiger stripes though.
None of my Germans have historical colour schemes, I went for a more "hollywood" grey vibe :)

I have a Tiger I and the biggest thing I ever did was cut the gaming board in half where my left side was locked down by it, so if any enemy anything showed itself, it would of got blasted. And if my opponent tried the bazooka or PIAT side or rear shot then the small 7 man Volksgrenadier squad would of jumped them. They was 8 inches away to the left side behind a wall, or the tank would of pivoted and used it's hull MMG and either main gun or coaxial MMG against the team. But I get far better use with my big thick skinned assault guns for my Germans that being my Stug 33B and it's spin off Brummbar in games as most infantry just wants to be on the other side of the stand of trees and so be out of sight of the things. And they are just as heavy armored as the Tiger I!
The Tiger I is pretty great, but I prefer the sequel!

If you want to be cheesy one of the best tanks the Germans can take is the Polizei M15/42 Tank, 20 mg shots you can split two ways for 145 points

It's all fun and games, especially when someone has to play the Germans because their equipment was the coolest.
While I like the look of the Tiger I, i love the Stuard and its bazillio MGs more.

Hard choice. I always want ro take a Tiger, but the points make it near abortive I feel. I pkayed a game against a feiend that had an M10, so took the Tiger to give him something to shoot at. Tiger took it out but didn't do much else. I missed the 7 units I didn't take in its place as with the army i had i still pinned out his armoured car and Infantry, had i had the those isntead of a Toger i guess i would have won 2 turns earlier. But its not about the winning all the time. Great for themed games, poor for highly competitive as it nerfs the order dice count. Still an iconic vehicle though....
Maybe you should do a video on a Soviet tank to show your not a Naz1 and to meet a certain someone's political leaning 😂
