Sir,
Why water sprayed and temperatures dropped through attemperator before final super heaters if we we required to raise the temperature with moisture free dry superheated steam required as per designed rated temperature and pressure.
Please clear my confusion.

During sudden load increse Or full load, Main steam temp go high, so water spray done, and it is done before Final SH so that all moisture are removed.
