Thanks for the super useful content! On your 40 mile plan, just wondering if it’s too intense as many recommended to have easy run 80-90% of total weekly volume. Also do you count jogging rest part of the VO2 max and threshold run? 11KM of VO2 sounds quite intense
I am training to break 20min for 5K. My previous attempt was 20:08 I started making my Vo2Max longer from the previous 6 x 800m to the current 4 x 1.5km @ 4:00min/km pace. My vo2max workouts have slowly progressed to become threshold workouts. Should I stick to shorter distance but run faster/rest shorter?
your videos are so good. thanks alot man, subscribed
Thx!! Glad it helped (:
How do you have the patience to run 2.4km in the first place? Like how do you run it without stopping?
hmmm 2.4 is only like 8mins for me haha
The pace on the VDOT calculator is in mins/km or mins/mile?
I think you can change it
nice explanation bud !
I like the way you differentiate VO2 Max Training and Lactate Threshold Training. Clear and concise :) Great stuff :)
Thanks! Im still learning all this 🙂

haha vo2max reps usually 400m -1.2km or maximum 5mins. don't drop your pace. only go faster
yeah awesome stuff man. great work!
I don't understand what he is talking about. I'm not mocking accent.
I can't understand the content of the video.
Do you have plans to create cycling or running tips as well? Or overall triathlon tips?
maybe in the future!! thanks 😊
Is it normal to run 2.4k faster than 5k at a sizeable different pace, 4:04 for 2.4k and 5:02 for 5k?
That depends on your fatigue resistance. Usually you need more aerobic miles. I experience that too, i cant run a marathon so fast as well
thx man
Welcome!!
Is LT the same as tempo?
Yup
Ok thanks
