You girls show how to age with the pedal to the metal! I love that a little bitty rattle snake is not going to scare you off! 😂 Onward to the next adventure 😊
Nice scenery, nice campgrounds, nice trail art. The snake was scary, I would be afraid it would get in the tent at night. Glad you had nice clear, cool water.
I follow Jaunting Jan and actually met her once in person while hiking in the Central Oregon Cascades. So cool you teamed up with her! Tell Jan Linda from "Linda's Lens" says hi! Love all your videos - very inspirational. If you're ever in the Portland area I'd love to take you on a hike.

HI LADIES 👋 LOOKED GORGEOUS THERE . HE / SHE WAS PROBABLY LOOKING FOR A BIG BOLDER TO GET UNDER / NEAR TO KEEP HIMSELF WARM THOUGH THE COULD NIGHT TIME 🌙 BE SAFE ☺️ 🙏
Beautiful countryside and great weather. That rattlesnake would've made me nervous. I noticed your friend Jan wears a skirt. I used to be in a church where women and girls did not wear pants, only skirts. Pants could be worn underneath the skirt if it was cold.
I started wearing skirts hiking about a decade ago when I developed an allergy to the pants fabric. I love it so much I haven't gone back and have many options as to what I wear underneath. I have tall gaiters I also wear when brushy, buggy or cold.
So happy you survived the ‘Snake Pit’! Great sedition. I have fished at Fish Creek just about 10 miles up the rode from the General Store. Loved the Trail Art. You all are so close to the Bristle Cone Pine Forest. If you have not visited it is worth the jaunt across the valley and up into the hills from Lone Pine.
More awesome area in our beautiful America. I'm glad you're able to finish the areas you missed because of snow. That was quite a large snake but I guess they leave you alone unless you surprise them. Are you still using bear canisters? I'm anxious to watch the next section, you two are amazing. Take care, be safe.😊
Wow wee you ladies don’t stop!, love it, question what is the orange thing hanging from Annette’s pack?. Also you guys were brave to fall asleep with a huge snake close by
Lovely video and dialogue. And snake! Can I ask what you are using for sleeping pads? I see Annette's folding pad...is that all, or do you have an inflatable? I'm shopping for a new system. 😀
Hey girls, its me ! What is this nonsense about being old? You two are young chicks ! You can not be old and do the hiking that you do ! Just keep that in mind and forget the age stuff.
Loved trail art and even the snake was kind of fun.

Once again thank you for taking us along!! I would love to be your kind of old. Beautiful, gorgeous scenery. ❤️❤️
You ladies are soft and tough at the same time. I like the music on your videos.
That was a beautiful hike! The only concern I’d have about the snake is stepping it on when I have to pee in the middle of the night. 😂
You sure are seeing some beautiful scenery! Thanks for taking us with you! I did not like that snake! Happy Trails!
My first Sierra backpack was Kersarge Pass. 50+ Years ago. Ah, the granite!
I spy Schat’s Bakery! YUM
We love it!

Beautiful…that was one big snake! It was cooler so it was pretty slow. Glad to see Jan with you.

@@jmkats - Thanks for your reply, Jan!
@@jmkatssame thing with men who wear kilts. Once they wear them, they don’t want to go back. There’s a whole line of rugged combat kilts, on line!

Looks like great weather! I hope the second half is good as well. Will that complete your PCT?

Yes, we are using bear canisters.
Wondering where is your friend Lynn ?,the one who hiked AT with you,
Can Jan tell what her skirt is? Is it special for biking? I have a couple
of Macabi skirts that are great!
Wow wee you ladies don’t stop!, love it, question what is the orange thing hanging from Annette’s pack?. Also you guys were brave to fall asleep with a huge snake close by
She is carrying her poncho in that bag.

Does anyone know what happened to Lynn? haven't heard anything about her in a long time.
Yes I miss seeing her in the videos and was wondering if she would be in the PCT ones.
where is lynn
We don't know. We haven't hiked with Lynn for 3 years now.
Rattlesnake, I would have gone away. Moved my tent- Did you sleep? i would have been afraid
I slept like a baby.
