I like this version, although most of the songs are always better on the SNES. The sound effects are better in this version, especially the sound of explosions.
Hm? Why the Japanese release of this game, I wonder? I'm pretty sure this version was localized in the United States. Eh, probably has something to do with some time-saving trick, like usual!
19:30 Perfectly animated action scene.

4:53 Neon Tiger: “Hey, no full auto in buildings!”
X: “That’s not full auto, this is.”
haha mega buster go BRRRRRRRRRRR
the saber wall jump tech looks super smooth damn
23:53 "Chill out dude! , it was a prank bro!"
The sounds add so much to this
The music in the 2nd Stage (1st post-intro) sounds like My Michelle
SullySadface It's actually based on that song
@@shadingcrawler9531 Actually, it was unintentional.
@@flash4354or so they say
you know what's funny, i knew the ps1 version had a different soundtrack but i never thought the sound effects would be different too, how interesting
It's all significantly worse than the original.
Can someone explain the lack of I-frames at 11:42?
[REDACTED] IDK, but from what I've experienced, Triad Thunder somehow breaks Crawfish's i-frames.
X3 i frames are broken in some bosses, most notably crawfish and seahorse
Hmmm, didn't know they released Mega Man X3 on Ps1...
Rockman X3 in Japan.
PAL version got a PS1 release.
The PS1 version is what's included on the X collection.
No. 90 he was on about the PS1 version. Not the X Collection version for PS2 or GCN.
Spikechive I know, I was saying that the PS1 version is what is on the X collection.
It was released for both SNES and PS1, due to the SNES being phased out at the time
19:35 How in the world do you have the Z-Saber at that point?
there's a glitch that allows you to access the doppler stages sooner, that's how he has it
X: When do I get the Z-Saber?
Zero: Well, I gotta take out a boss in Dopper Stage 2...
X: Fuck the Mavericks!
12:10 wtf
Vent Kazuto called hax
right + x on same frame
me too ...
I was like "What? where is the other bosses?????"
what???????
@@whenls1107 Only PSX Ver. can do this

Who thinks the sound effects alone make the boss explosions seem much cooler?
19:33 Insert samurai.
I heard the PS1 version lets you slope jump anywhere, does anyone know how to pull this off?
12:14 what!!!!!???
これオールステージじゃなきゃ何分でいけるんだろう…
only PS1 can
Imagine being a robot master and seeing this crap unfolding in your stage on a closed circuit camera...
Unarmored X is more OP with Z-Saber in X3. Armored X with Z-Saber takes charge attacks too long.
I think it will be cooler on the classic Super Niniendo
Glitch, Enter Doppler Stage without defeating all the Mavericks!
This Is Rockman X3!
No Problem
That why Japan only glitches.
No, this is Patrick
Is it possible to enter the last stages like that? Without TAS I mean.
Yes, but it requires frame-perfect input on the stage select screen. And it can only be done in the PSX version.
Mothrayas Thanks for telling me.

12:10 - Wait a minute-- *how*?! Is that a Japan version-exclusive glitch that has something to do with delaying frames or taking damage or something??
The text is faster in Japanese.
+Joseph Collins Also you can do that trick in American version with enough practice.
The PSX version of this game was not released in the United States. Only in Japan and in Europe.
It's not Japan exclusive, but it is exclusive to the PSX version. It's just a matter of hitting the direction and confirm buttons on the same frame.
i feel weird that a snes game get nothing but horrible loading screen on a ps1.
Well, it has anime cutscenes, and a much, *much* better sound in general.

Musics and soundeffects are awful compared to SNES version...
I think it's the complete opposite. The sfx especially sound so much better.
Vedenjakaja It's pretty good IMO.
Vedenjakaja I think some of the soundtracks are better than on the SNES, but the sfx are awful :D
The SNES version's soundfont is pretty grating. It baffles me that people think that's good.

Yep! but original japanese SFC version is even better than american or european version ;)
Considering this doesn't make your ears bleed I highly doubt that.
