Awesome tip Andy, will have to see if I can get hold of some over here. I often use gaffer tape for first aid at work. Probably not the best idea. I do also generally keep a few plasters in my wallet. But always have gaffer tape in the workshop. Tends to be easier. Looks like it makes good charr cloth.
Very good demo of the char cloth here. Also, this tape you showed can be rip torn (no need for knife/scissors) which makes it quicker to use. I've used the wide clear Gorilla tape to re-seam seal jackets. It's an immensely strong product, both the plastic tape and the aggressive glue. But I'll try this new one. Thanks.
Gaffertape is the best....my grandpa used to call it 100 mile tape cuz you could tape your bumper back onto your car and drive a 100 miles an hour and it would hold it no problem! That's some amazing other ways to use it for sure! The blood type and gear fixes are great bits of info I'll absolutely remember! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience with us Mr.Andy! The 100 mph tape was a term that came from the military. It was used to fix boots,patch fenders,and patch fuselages with bullet holes. They have also used it when on the racetrack.

If the job required isnt about discretion, 'jaffa tape' is very, very strong and will even hold glass in place on a vehicle for an extended period. Dont forget helicopter tape - another tough one. Hope all is well!

I just ripped my tarp last night due to the strong wind and using a stick as support so I remembered this video. Will this tape stop leakage when raining?
