Darwin Bombing

This Sunday marks 70 years since the town of Darwin was bombed by Japanese forces during World War II. On the 19th of February 1942 Japanese planes attacked in two deadly raids. For the first time this year, the anniversary of the bombing is a national day of observance. And that recognition is bringing forgotten wartime stories to the fore.
