You wonder why this song doesnt have a lot of views and like. It's authetic and very cultural based. I love the song!!! I'm in the United States and I can appreciate this art. "...Ibadan ni mo wa ooo..."
Qdot is deep, insightful, all round traditional Yoruba audio and visual artist. His niche is solid and growing fast, his use of Yoruba rhymes construct is phenomenal in this day and age! Music unpretentious, contemporary and very attractive. Ride high bro, Ibadan my city!!!
This is Evergreen. Only those who know will know. Even though my love for IB will be forever because I went to UI/UCH. Ibadan is a great city I will forever love.
2023 I rediscovered this song. No matter how advanced afrobeats get, nothing beats this old school traditional sound. It does something to me especially while im driving as a yoruba man in America. Partly because it reminiscence of the sound we heard growing up via our parents.
This brings back so many memories of my dad playing this on the tv and me and my lil bro performing what we thought was ‘dancing’ which was us going crazy 😂 aaah bring me back to those days 😌
I'm Caribbean but I love this song ❤️😍🔥 so underated. Who still listening in 2022? I just like the language 😜 don't always need to understand to feel it.
Awww, I'm from Nigeria but not Yoruba (Igbo) but they are reminiscing about Ibadan one of the oldest cities In the country. Ibadan no mo wa is I am in ibadan
I understand some Yoruba and not usually into these type of songs but love this. Qdot is looking so different now, much chubbier. Preferred him this way.
Found this-- it's 2022, reminiscing on how big this two artistes are now and agonized that ijebu(the driver shown @the beginning of the music video, who was a Yoruba actor, then) is now dead. How time flies 🥺
THis a great song. Please QDOT how do i meet you. I am currently working on this globally relevant song. I am a music lecturer OAU Ife. Dr Olusegun Titus is the name
