Youvita Emma I always just thought she was cynical of the world and wanted to set her kids up for what real life brings and how dedication is needed and glee shows hope for how the world is really supposed to be for the most part and she was mad will taught em that instead of the real world aspect
Uh I wouldn’t go that far as to call her an amazing person lol. She still loves to insult people and doesn’t appreciate the arts as she thinks it’s a waste of time. But she does appreciate what Will And the ND managed to accomplish
It’s the year 2020. Rachel just won her first Tony and is happily married to Jesse. Kurt and Blaine will soon be dads. Mercedes is on her world tour. Artie’s movie got into Sundance Film Festival. Schuester’s doing great as principal in McKinley High School for the Performing Arts while Sam’s the coach for the New Directions. Sue’s on her second term as VP of the United States. Then they all reunited with the rest of the Glee club and rededicate the school auditorium to Finn.
What Sue said - that "to see the world not as it is but as it should be... is just about the bravest thing that anyone could do" were probably the most perfect lines to close the series. It's one of the best lines I've ever heard from a TV show. It just summed up the essence of Glee so well, and why it's such an amazing show. Most fictional TV shows just entertain audiences with drama, but Glee taught people how to follow their dreams, and have the courage to step outside other people's expectations and be their true selves. It connects with people in such a personal and powerful way - it makes you realise that even if you feel like no one understands you, you're not actually alone. Glee was truly a great show and I will never love any other show the way that I love Glee.
Glee help me follow my dreams I became a choir student in Liberty because if it wasn't for Finn Hudson who showed me that you can be anybody you want to be I wouldn't have became a sooner I wouldn't have got I wouldn't want over every boy in the school I would have never been able to follow my dreams and you know what if I ever get a dog or a cat or a car his name is going to be Finn Hudson in honor actually it's going to be Cory Monteith and honor but will call him Finn for short I am going to honor Cory by naming my car after him in honor of him because he was one of my favorite choir performers Glee Club performer I am proud to have Cory on my side to prove that I am smart Brave and one of the most famous children in high school now
Bossy Princess she had her amazing moments throughout the show though. Like in her sisters funeral, taking the blame for Becky in the school shooting episode and helping out Marley and her mom. Those are just a few, I'm sure there are others
Omar These were overshadowed by her awful comments, transphobia against Unique, having sex all over Rachel's apartment for no reason after walking out of her show, making constant attempts to shut the Glee club down, encouraging Cheerios to bully the Glee Club, and the unspeakable things she did in Will's house.
Sue: Fantastic. Becky! Becky! It’s okay, honey, he’s clean. You know, a great big fat person once stood in this stage and told a group of a dozen or so nerds in hideous disco outfits that Glee, by its very definition is about ‘Opening Yourself Up To Joy.’ Now it’s no secret that for a long time I thought that was a load of hooey. As far as I could see the Glee club was nothing more than a place where a bunch of cowardly losers go to sing their troubles away and elude themselves that they live in a world that cares one iota about their hopes and dreams, totally divorced from the harsh reality that out in the real world, there’s not much more to hope for than disappointment, heartbreak and failure. And you know what? I was exactly right; that’s exactly what Glee Club is. But I was wrong about the COWARDLY part. What I finally realise, now that I’m well into my late-thirties; it takes a lot of bravery to look around you and see the world not as it is, but as it should be: A world where the Quarterback becomes best friends with the Gay kid and the girl with the big nose ends up on Broadway. Glee is about imagining a world like that and finding the courage to open up your heart and sing about it. That’s what Glee club is, and for the longest time I thought that was SILLY, and now, I think it’s just about the BRAVEST thing that ANYONE could do. I am honoured to be here to rededicate this theatre, The FINN HUDSON AUDITORIUM. William, it is with your hard work and his memory that you managed to accomplish something unimaginable. McKinley high school for the performing arts has become an overwhelming success; a model for public schools that showcase the arts now being replicated all across the country. CONGRATULATIONS Will Schuester, you and your little Glee club have accomplished something quite REMARKABLE. And now without any further adieu it is my pleasure to introduce ... the New Directions.
A perfect final speech delivered by the one and only Sue Sylvester to show the growth and development of a crazy, strong-willed, competitive, dream-crushing, cheerio coach, former high school principal and now Vice President of the United States and showing that over all the years (6 seasons) that the Glee club had taught her so much and opened her eyes up to the hopes and dreams of a young talented group who could make those hopes and dreams into a reality in a world that they lived in from a small choir room.
When you realize that the reason why McKinley High changed to "High school for the performing arts" was because none of the Glee kids found a job and they needed somewhere to teach :D

I dropped Glee a long time ago and I hadn't seen it episode after episode. I don't care about spoilers at this point and I'm glad I crossed this scene. Such a beautiful speech. I loved Sue from the beginning and I love her even more after this scene. She is completely right. But what I do not like - and I now that I'm going to get a lot of hate for this comment - is how they glorify Finn. I know Cory Monteith died and that is really sad, because he was a great actor and singer and they also did this to honor him. But the character he played was not the hero everyone claims him to be. Finn was a nice guy, but I am not over the things he has done in season 2. He left Rachel because she cheated on him, then he makes Quinn cheat on Sam. He did not protect Kurt because his popularity was more important to him. Finn was a great guy and I really loved him in season 4 and his death really did mark the end of the show, but I don't consider him a hero. But I seriously do understand and appreciate that they rename the auditorium after him. His decision to do both football and Glee Club back in the very first season made all of this possible. He deserves this. He would have become a great teacher and we even get a glimpse on what his storyline would have been, because Sam becomes a Finn 2.0. in season 6, in my opinion.
He was a hero in the making. He learned to be more protective Kurt in season 2, but it was too late since Kurt decided to transfer. He got the unholy trinity to quit cheerios to help the glee club and prevent Brittany from getting killed. And in season 3, his character improved even more. I believe he dated Rachel for most of S3. The start of s4 was super rocky IMO for him, but he was able to pull through for the newbies and was really caring about them.
