18:15 and this is a perfect illustration of Wisconsin's problem. Franklin took 7 swings in one rally. Who else swung? No one... yes their starting L and DS are both out so they're out of system more often but still... the announcers all comment about how much higher her numbers are this year. Well when she's taking most of the swings... you best believe a highly talented player is gonna have overall stats raised. ***Also to note I do realize this is a weaker rotation offensively for WI I just wish Franklin had a more capable OH to ease her load so to say
Yeah, I’m a Husker fan so I’m ok with it 🤣 but every time I watch the way that Wisconsin and Penn State overuse one player, I feel real empathy for them. On the other hand, both Franklin and Mruzik are guaranteed to get great professional contracts if they want them. So, I guess it’s a long game win 🤷♀️
Nebraska's players are peaking at the right time. To sweep Wisconsin with that commanding front line three times in one season is a remarkable accomplishment. The "littles" were especially amazing, digging or saving balls all over the court and often off the court. Landfair made several crucial points and was more consistent than she was early in the year, and the hard work Murray put in to correct her defensive deficiencies really paid off last night. Beeson, Jackson, and Allick are already pro-quality athletes, and Reilly is one of the two best setters in collegiate volleyball. But this team is very young, and the question remains whether they can sustain this level of intensity for the final two games. Injury-riddled Wisconsin was simply out-manned last night, but they have had a laudable run this year. Sarah Franklin will be remembered as one of Wisconsin's all-time greats, and Booth, Crawford, Smrek, and Robinson could start on any collegiate team in the nation. But four of those five players are seniors or grad students, which means there will be some big shoes to fill in 2025. Many thanks to all of you for some great memories.
The Huskers go as Beason goes. If she’s off offensively, they play well. If she’s on offensively, they play incredible. The left side hitters and middles don’t seem to impact game-to-game nearly as much as she does. And clearly, this match she was on one.
@ their positioning is similar I think Hentz just had more broad movement? And didn’t get as hyped up due to to the fact she was on the same team as Plummer
Hmmm that is a hard take, but even if I'm a firm nebraska follower, I will give hentz the higher hand bc like other people have said, in which I agree with, hentz was more agile, and fierce while Rodriguez is laid back and kinda fell into the bigger picture of diggers, due to the husker history of *Greats* but no not as good as say, Wong- Orantes and hentz they were and are better in many ways
@ would you support the notion though that Rodriguez has more of a flow to her defense style though? Or does she have such aptitude because at her time with Nebraska she’s had pretty capable DS’s to support the defense?
I've said it before, I'll say it again😅 neb deserves that #1 Seed.. bc please tell me. Who has pitt beaten besides smu that nebraska hasnt! A bunch of unranked teams?. 😂 That's who😂 LMAOOOO , I say this with no offense but.. give them it before pitt gets embarrassed in the tournament, not to mention nebraska is guaranteed a co champion with this win.. bc with a possible upset from Penn State, it will be tied between them for the series #GBR BRO
Yall will literally get the number 1 seed. Now if you’re talking about rankings then they won’t do that because of the loss to smu when they were unranked. Pitt swept them and lost to them in 5. Nebraska got swept by them

Also Happy Landfair is starting, and has been. If only Jerrot Elliot would read our comments about Jenna Wenaas
Lmaooo 😂😂😂
I think that’s why he doesn’t have any hair 😂
Jenna Wenass is trash. She won't make it on Pro teams. She's not a go-to hitter.
wincosin girls meeting Nebrakas right now is difficult for them. I also like the Wincosin team but it's hard to win against Nebrakas right now
Did he really call Smrek Rettke omg the disrespect
Hhhahaha I noticed this too 😂😂😂
I'm curious what other people think. Is Rodriguez as good as Morgan Hentz? Better? Worse? They have very different styles so can't really tell.
I don’t want to piss off Nebraska fans but then again I don’t really care about them😂, I think she’s overrated imo. Morgan was an absolute stud!
