I don't care what anyone says. with all the caliber cook has every single years he better have alot of titles and winning season. doesn't matter if no seniors or what. they still would be top team....
More weeks ranked than any university in the history of women volleyball, currently ranked #2. How many Top 25 teams have they beaten already this year? How many top 10 teams have they SWEPT this year? I rest my case.
I’m so tired of seeing these types of comments. YES Neb has beaten many top 25 & top 10 opponents. Pitt has also beaten a few, albeit not the same level as the ones Neb has faced. The difference is Pitt HAS NOT LOST A GAME. I don’t even think they’ve dropped a set (I could be wrong). If Pitt loses a game, they will likely drop to #2 and Neb #1 so Neb fans can stop foaming at the mouth for the #1 seed. Honestly after last year I wouldn’t be too concerned with being #1, but that’s just me.
Have u watched a Pitt game? I'm a husker fan but PITT looks #1 and it's not even close. I genuinely think they would sweep us if we faced off currently. NEB has a lot of growing to do still, they let teams go on too many runs.
"Most weeks ranked" is a pretty flimsy basis for an argument. So are those other stats. Why haven't you mentioned that they're the highest-ranked team to ever be SWEPT by an unranked (and historically low-ranked) team in SMU? Nebraska put up a record season last year, nearly going undefeated, and got absolutely HUMILIATED in the finals, right? I mean, they looked like a team in complete disaray and anguish THROUGHOUT that finals match -- not even a few pts where they looked in control. What this tells you is that, despite being the most STACKED team in the league in terms of high-profile names/players, and recognized top talent, and despite it's 'record', they can quite easily be CRUSHED out of nowhere. The problem is the players' egos and mental state of mind. Nebraska's players are ego/image/popularity-driven -- to the point that it distracts them from focusing on what's really important. Look at the SMU, Pitt, and other teams' players -- they are NOT PRINCESS-DEBUTANTES trying to win the campus Miss Populairty Contest. They're ordinary, hard-working, down-to-earth girls who aren't distracted by "superficial" concerns. A team built on ego's and superficiality crumbles real fast when put to the test.

I know how that feels three hours with serve and receive and working on your jump serve making it in one area was hard
