Hey, I'm a new subscriber. I see a lovely Reading shirt in the background. I'm a season ticket holder - have been for 15 years - although I'm not sure why at the moment! Great videos and have watched a few. Keep up the good work.
Hello mate. I don't have the Zwift cog and click but do have the Zwift hub and play controllers. The virtual shifting is amazing and instant. Keep the chain in the small at the front and about 1/3 up the cassette and leave it. It's only me and my bike on the trainer. Play controllers would help you and your issues on the bot rides when going down hill as you can brake with them.
Gravel really seems to shaft me! Duno if its because I am a heavier rider (103kg) but I always seem to be putting in more watts per kg compared to everyone round me just to keep up.. Dreading this weeks tour of watopio stage 4 long route as its mainly gravel.. Cant be harder than ADZ last week?
Stop cheating use 100% TD much harder to put out consistent power when your trainer is not lying to you If you can’t handle the climbs get a Zwift cog or bigger cassette Zwift races should be locked at 100%
A couple of points on this: Im not sure which part you consider is cheating... That number of watts required to get up a hill are the same, no matter what the TD setting is. I think you are misunderstanding what I am trying to achieve. Tour of Watopia rides are not races (unless you decide to turn it into one, which I clearly was not).
@@target2.5 yea the watts are the same but it’s harder to generate those watts when you run out of gears and cadence suffers Try climbing on 100 percent generating the same watts and see how much faster you get tired having a constant high cadence due to not running out of gears is all aerobic not anaerobic which is way harder on the body I know it’s not a race I was just saying racing should be locked at 100
Vlog style definitely the way forward Matt. Really enjoying them. Hope you and the family are all good

Super consistent Stage 3, great stuff.
Thanks Chris 🙂
