MT Framework only exist on XDK and the PS4 dev kit, because Capcom is not going to port a dead engine to the current gen SDKs just like Epic is not going to port Unreal Engine 3 to the GDK or PS5 dev kit either. Since the Marvel vs Capcom Collection is a cash grab release, they chose the path of least resistance by making the game on PS4 dev kits and rely on Sony to provide a back compat mode for it to work on current/future PlayStations, and skip the Xbox platform because they aren't allowed to use the XDK to even make an Xbox One version.
No Bag has been handed over for Wukong, it's just one of those things. It'll come not long later like BG3 did. Microsoft will help them come to grips with how it works. It's ok to admit when Xbox fails because at the end of the day they had an amazing showcase and their own products are coming day and date. Xbox owns so much now it doesn't have to rely on 3rd party

The Devs said it themselves it's series S optimization. Trying to conflate previous games having issues with the S as "co-op" isn't the full truth. It's when co-op meant the screen would have to process what both players are seeing at the same time in a highly detailed game on a single screen. Black Myth: Wukong has more going on in 1 screen than a Baldur's Gate because it's an action game running on Unreal 5. Jez seems like a good guy but if he's going to play the part of a journalist while calling himself a blogger he needs to put the question he asked to prompt the response from Microsoft. The answer given also was a non-answer the same way they tried to blame devs for Baldur's Gate because they can't say it's the Series S. Had there actually been a deal nothing would stop MS from saying they lost a deal to PS because that would actually help them with the agenda they've been trying to push against exclusives. Also when having the deals I'm pretty sure legally they would have to acknowledge it and you would see the PlayStation splash white logo in the corner for all the marketing. When Project Eve was struggling PS funded to finish and add more to the game, you saw the splash logo and the devs tell you exactly what happened. Financially it makes more sense to just delay the version struggling to optimize when that's the version likely to sell the least. Earning the money from PC and PS is healthier for a studio rather than just continuing to spend by delaying all versions. Fanboys that already have started with the "don't support Black Myth: Wukong" because they buy into fanboy theories more than they buy games is exactly why it's easy for games to delay xbox versions or skip the platform entirely.
