UPDATE to SURPRISE "TWIN" ADOPTION REVEAL, Part 2:Baby #3-Kjar Adoption Story-11 years in the Making

- After years of trying naturally to start a family, Ben and LaCol, did 4 expensive rounds of IVF treatments that would lead to 2 miscarriages of a baby boy and girl.
Later, the Kjar family would suffer two failed adoptions that would almost tear them down emotionally.
After 10 years of marriage and hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in the future of their family, something magical happened....they got a call from the adoption agency to pick up a baby boy that was just born...only, by many miracles, they ended up coming home with TWO babies! They were able to surprise their families when they returned with both babies.
A year later, they received another call, telling them that Liam's Birth Mother was pregnant again and due any day. She wanted to know if Ben and LaCol would also take this baby.

First my blood brother was adopted and not to long after I was also adopted by the same family. This is so special for me to watch

I’m incredibly moved by your story. My first child…a boy I gave up for adoption at age 17. I later down the road got married and suffered countless miscarriages and a pregnancy loss at 26 weeks. I put my faith in something higher than myself and was then blessed with 3 biological children, and became a social worker and adopted 2 more❤️ My adopted child found me and we have a special relationship and is now due to have his second child with his wife. I knew adoption would be the best decision for him, but it was so hard. Just as hard as I’m sure my adopted kid’s biological parents decision. It’s come full circle for me and I’m so fortunate to have such a big family, which I always dreamed of having. My kids are 11,12,13,14,23 and adopted son is 30. Congratulations! It’s such a selfless act to allow someone to raise your child. It really hit me when we adopted ourselves, and I have no regrets. My son was raised with a brother(also adopted), and amazing parents. I was adopted when I was a baby almost 29 years ago. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being such amazing parents to these 3 little bundles of joy. Always tell them how you came to be a family. These children are so lucky. My birth "family" doesn't even know I exist. When I reached out to the woman that birthed me, she was not kind or compassionate. Did not want me contacting any of my blood relatives. I am SO grateful I have AMAZING parents.

I found my dad he ghosted me...and as far as his family very few if any knew I existed. I know the feeling. But it will not effect me in a negative way. It hurt me some but I imagine it will hurt him more in the end and for that I feel bad for him.

This is deeply incredible. God bless Liam and Kempton's birth mother. It was a brave choice to bring these little men into the world, even knowing she couldn't raise them. Her choice has brought joy and meaning into the lives of a million people. Pretty dang incredible. She deserves a ton of gratitude.
This is what happened to a family member of mine. 18 mos after they adopted baby #1 the birth mom called them and asked them to adopt baby #2. They were meant to be brothers.

THREE babies in 13 months!!! What an incredible story; what a beautiful family. I cried when Ben told the story of being called by the bio Mom asking them if they would take another little boy that she had just given birth to - Liam's biological brother. She's an incredible part of this story - knowing she was not in a position to give them the lives that they deserved, she did the next best thing - she approached the adoptive parents of her first baby and asked if they would take his brother. Those boys won't have to spend their lives looking for each other. Ben and LaCol - what a wonderful "birth" story you have to tell your kids as they grow up.

Hi Ben, I just came across your TH-cam channel, literally less than 60 seconds ago. I recognized your facial features pretty much instantly and I have a very similar condition as you do, called Pfeiffer Syndrome. It’s also quite rare and whenever a doctor would ask me or my parents what it was, the answer would always be, “ it’s a lot like crouzon syndrome.” I guess the main difference between the 2 is the way Pfeiffer can sometimes affect the hands and feet. Anyway, I’m one that has struggled my entire life with how I looked and sounded. I always felt like I talked like a duck and looked like a weirdo. The way you present yourself and how confident you are truly is so inspiring and it gives me hope too. I’m trying to look at the syndrome as being 1 in a million, though it’s more like 100,000 but saying that out loud has too many syllables.😉 I’ve had close to 30 surgeries... I think I lost count actually but it is definitely between 25-30. The nice thing about most of them being on my head somewhere, is that the scars are mostly covered. If I ever have my hair vanish, I’d look probably like a war zone. Thank you for using your voice to impact the world. Honestly I’ve been thinking about speaking out myself someday. I endured quite a bit of bullying in my younger years and as I got older it got easier. The biggest issue that I struggled with and still do, is self esteem and self value. Thank you for sharing your videos with us. Hope you don’t mind me dropping in and saying hi. Congrats on adopting a beautiful little family. God bless you.❤️

It took my years to decide to be okay to step out unapologetically and love my life. At the end of the day, we all only have one life to live and it’s not very long. Why not live it to its fullest? Continue being the awesome person of light that you are. It’s contagious. I already know we’d be good friends.

After 35 years, you’d think that I have overcome it all but nope, still have to remind myself everyday who I really am and I can choose to be either positive and make a difference or dwell in self pity and feel sorry for myself and have zero impact. These two families though... Wow. What amazing families. I'd give the world to be a part of a family like this. Their reactions are just so priceless, and then to sit and pray over those children at the end. I'm a hot mess. It's too late to be watching these videos tonight.

Honestly if I had to put my child up for adoption and I seen this is where the baby I brought into the world was going to go to a family like this would make it so much easier to know how loved the little ones are ❤️ they're amazing parents and should be proud of themselves , they're little family has come a long way x

Alma she might be pretty young or in a bad situation. Shit happens sometimes and hopefully she’ll be in a better place soon.
So precious is the love of both families enveloping this child in love. So special to see this child prayed for by the family. Nothing but love and happiness to you all, especially to the parents and their three sweet beautiful children.

What a BLESSING! 🙏🏻💕 I gave my little baby girl up for adoption 29 years ago and her parents kept in contact with me with pictures (VERY important!) and letters and even a video when she (Rachel) was about 2 years old, waving into the camera and saying, “Hi birthmom!” ❤️
I met her for the first time (since her birth) a few years ago and so the sisters got to meet, too! They are 5 years apart. I met Rachel’s husband as well. She’s had the most wonderful life that I know I could not have given her at that time. I have NEVER regretted my decision, ever! 🙏🏻😇

You guys!!! I'm sitting at dialysis watching you tube videos to pass the time. I just came across the video of the first two babies. Then I see this. Yep you got me balling my eyes out. The tech says are you OK?? Yeah.... Dang you tube!! It's so great to see this bc you probably know that October is Infant Loss Awareness month. I lost a full term stillborn boy October 31, 1992. It's been almost 30years but it's still an emotional time for me. I love this so much! Congratulations.
Also want to add.... My older sister is adopted. Our parents got her when she was a month old. She is now 53. Our parents have both passed away. It was always on my heart to help her locate her bio family. Well last Christmas I got her an Ancestry DNA kit. Yep in Jan she located some. She got a match for her mom and sister. It hasn't gone as expected. Mom has not spoken to her yet. But her sister has. Well October 12th I wittnessed them meeting for the first time. So cool! It's been emotional for sure.

I don't know about the birth-mom really. To get another baby that short after the first one. Adoption is not for fun. Lucky the babies got into this lovely family.

What a beautiful mother the birth mother is! What strength, courage and love it must have taken to be able give her babies to a loving family. That’s true love right there!!!
