I think Namibia's gorgeous face and humble personality plus innate relatability won her the crown. I noticed that in Miss Supranational, they focus more on the beauty of the face and not much on who are fierce and who killed it on stage. She' s a gem!

Miss Namibia is gorgeous and makes me think of Rolene Strauss who won Miss World in 2014. I think Miss South Africa answered her question the best and I thought she might be in the top two. She looked gorgeous in her evening gown. As I'm South Africa, I might be bias. 😁Thank you for your channel, I love your content. In the end, all the ladies were beautiful. ❤️

I agree current queen shouldn’t be a judge. They need to keep it top 20. Not copy Miss World. The question round wasn’t great but South Africa had best answer. Interesting that Namibia was 2nd in the last pageant and won it this time.
Although I'm from the Philippines, I was kind of hoping that Indonesia gets crowned. I saw her crowning moment in Jakarta March 2020 and she's really gorgeous. But I'm still proud of what Dindi has achieved.

@@ianreyes5809 Hate is not good in any way and acting like that only harm others so I invite people from Indonesia to be humble and celebrate what their candidate at Miss Supranational accomplished and keep doing what they do best and they will soon have many winners at different pageants.

Miss Supranational is not about Supermodel Looks.
Its all about CHARISMA, PERSONALITY, RELATABILITY and OVERALL IMPACT.
The thing is as a Namibian i might come off as bias but we have a regional miss Supranational Namibia pageant so though it's a new pageant in our country which started last year it really focuses on building and preparing the contestants for the international pageant. I honestly don't believe that every single judge on that panel was conspiring against another country and that's how we won nope not possible. I think because we don't know the specific criteria they were using for judging we're comparing it to the other bigger older pageants which isn't fair because they are all looking for a different female. Also on stage performances aren't the only things considered so Miss Namibia could've killed it at her interviews and bagged up so many points. But anyways we are all intitled to our opinions, she's an aspirational and inspirational women and her work her in our country is exceptional. Super proud🇳🇦♥️

My onstage question top 2 were Venezuela and South Africa. But I am very happy for Namibia . She is an amazingly beautiful queen and will have a great region as Miss Supranational 2021
Jeez, the organization is not loking for an intellectual, academic answer but a simple, exciting one that Miss Namibia gave! This is a commercial show which main purpose is to be entertaining and to attract a large audience!

2020 international pageants - M.U - we want Peru to win , M.G.I - we want Phillipines to win , M.S - we want Venezuela to win . We all have different opinions , we must not decide and judge the way we only saw on live T.V there's much more which we didn't see ( closed interviews , personality , communication skills & the scores on each of the candidates) . They won because they have higher total scores than the other candidates so we should appreciate, support and accept those queens instead of cyber attacking and spreading hurtful things which makes them depressed.

I was more aligned with your predictions while watching. After the question and answer portion I really thought it would be South Africa and Venezuela holding hands and I almost got upset during the results lol. I’m really curious what the judging criteria were. I’m new to this pageant so I’m uncertain what the trends are.

Thank you for the recap Dani. From the poor production of their Prelims to the super world standard Finals, I was blown away by the final production. It was beautiful to watch. Miss Namibia was absolutely beautiful, a stunner of note. Although my last 2 standing ladies were South Africa and Venezuela, I was happy that Namibia won. Well done to all the participants 💐

@@ianreyes5809. That's the nature of pageants unfortunately. You win some and lose some. We must all know and accept that at times, there will be contestants who will be more beautiful and offer more intellect than ours. If they've decided to unfollow this pageant, it is their choice. We move on.

I agree on you Miss Dani about the judging panels. The Reigning Queen should not be included as judge also because to have a good competition I guess and to avoid biases and others.

Puerto Rico reminded me of Denise Quinones. If she competed at Miss Universe during the 90s and 2000s, she would win it. She did not need do a fancy walk to be noticed. She simply stands out. Venezuela also reminds me of the Venezuelan glamazons at Miss Universe.

I was not a fan of the show (too long) but I was very happy that Nambia won. I do thank you for the recap since I was a bit confused about the scoring.
I thought it was a bit too long as well. I think it could be cut to 2 hours, including commercials/sponsors.

Hey Dani i was so waiting for you to do this. This has been a fun peagant so amazing. Miss universe watch out. To be honest this years Miss universe was so low and boring. Miss Grand was WOOOOOW. Top 5 for me Miss South Africa Stunning..
I agree either you. Miss Venezuela gave an incredible answer. I am a big Valentina's fan due to her advocacy. Her mum committed suicide and since then she has been campaigning for mental health. Miss Venezuela should have been either runner up or the winner... Her performance was so consistent throughout the event.

Thank you for your very honest recap of this pageant Dani 🙏🏼 This is why I love your channel so much. I used to love watching Miss Supranational, but this year my curiosity got the better of me as I asked “what is their scoring criteria for judging these women?”. Well unfortunately one of their judges was more interested in taking Instagram videos during their judging and showed not only her scorecard, but even the judges next to her 😱 It was such a stab in the heart to see that they don’t have a scoring criteria at all. They score how they like to which some just circle or checkmark favourites. If a contestant asked for a scoresheet to see their performance, they wouldn’t get one.
Oh wow, some USA pageants are like that. You'd get a pass or a fail, not a score. Many pageants don't share scores or comments with contestants. I love when they do though.

Miss Venezuela's answer was indeed beautiful and eloquently put... but she didn't answer the question... the question was why is climate change not taken seriously.
She answered it. She used an example on why she thinks people are not taking it serious
Some of these pageant productions are giving Miss Universe a run for their money!
They really are, but in the US contestants don't know about these pageants and have never seen them :(
@@DaniWalker Thank you for your reviews. This is spreading awareness. I had never even heard of this system before seeing your videos.
This was my first time following this pageant and don’t come on me for my opinion, but this pageant is very conservative and is just starting to open their mind to diversity and inclusivity. For exemple, this year they knew from the beginning they wanted to represent Africa and choose an African queen but not a black one. I’m not South African but thato was the true winner, they didn’t give her the title because she was black. Same with mister supranational 1st rn. If it was in the past years Puerto Rico would have been the winner for sure but since it’s 2021 they included more African queens to the top and gave them prizes just to excuse what they were going to do. I’m very happy with the winner and congratulations to all the amazing women they represented their country well but this is just my opinion.
what are you talking about? this is pure slander accusing them of racism, there were many black finalists in the top 24 and miss namibia had the prettiest face, that's why she won - nothing to do with the skin colour. There were 2 black women in top 5 and zero europeans to it, so your comment is just silly

@@desqua2497 am i saying the other 4 girls in the top 5 were ugly? of course not and it looks like you have problems with reading comprehension, all the girls were very good looking but miss namibia had the most appealing, angelic face in my opinion! it looks like you do not understand what the show is about - its main purpose is entertainment! thay don't want long, academic, intellectual answers, they don't expect girls to save the world, they want an answer that is simple, exciting and excellently delivered - this was accomplished perfectly by miss namibia

Venezuela could have nailed that better if she left the Mental Health out of the answer as that was not the question. A lot of factors come into play as they also have the closed interviews, I think those points had an effect on the overall win. I really thought Thato was amazing and we are happy with how far she went. Congrats to our neighbour Namibia❤ well deserved.
Miss Supra Venezuela (Valentina Sanchez) should’ve been selected for Miss Universe, she would’ve been a force to reckon with especially this year’
I expected Venezuela to win after the q & a. Then when listening to some pageant vloggers, they mentioned that Miss Venezuela is not the prototype of Miss Supranational and she's better fit for Miss Universe. My #1 bet before the finals was Puerto Rico. But Miss Supranational 2018 was Valeria Vasquez Latorre, Miss Puerto Rico and the current Miss Supra Puerto Rico's performance had to be at par or surpass Valeria's performance to win the crown. Miss Namibia as Miss Supranational 2021 is a big accomplishment. She's the first Miss Supranational coming from the continent of Africa.
I'm a little bit upset Miss Indonesia didnt win, but I'm happy for Miss Namibia.. All ladies deserve to win..
Great review. I also think the winner could have reasonably been anyone in the top. Last year, Namibia was 1st runner up and they were so pleased with that that the Namibian franchise holder held a stand alone Miss Namibia Supranational pageant. Being that the judging panel is made up entirely of people within the Supranational organization, this may have tipped the scales in Namibia’s favor, although not necessarily. I would love to see you review Mr Supranational. There seem to be a growing number of men’s pageant cropping up in recent years, it’s a growing market, and Mr Supranational is the best men’s competition put there, I believe

This Top 5 were more interesting to watch than MU 2020 Top 5
Combined scores of supermodel+Swimsuit+Evening gown+ Question and answer was taken into considerance for Crowning

1. Puerto Rico
2. Namibia
3. South Africa
4. Dominican Republic
5. Venezuela
I think the QnA doesn't have big berring because I think it's the totality when you average all the rounds of the competition.
In Top 24 I think Miss Namibia ace that rounds while Puerto Rico top the performances in Top 12. The Final Question is South Africa.
Tho they all deserve to be the winner. Few points differences might change the rankings.
There are no averages, as nobody is keeping score. If you look closely, they’re voting on pieces of paper. If the candidates asked for their scores to see where they could improve, they wouldn’t have any to give. One of the judges accidentally showed her scorecard. She was checking off her favourites ✅ and making videos while the contestants ‘competing’. Not saying Miss Supra is bad because the judges pick and choose who gets into top or not (other pageants are guilty of this as well), but it’s not Miss Universe where individual scores are computed and contestants can ask and receive them.
@@Retroglamamour my point here is not on how the scoring system works. I'm responding to the video on how the winner was being chosen. Because if checking was the basis, tie will occur somewhere. But how are they gonna break the tie??? Since only the organization knows how it goes. I think we can all assume that the totality (including your good or bad answer) will determine the winner.
I also felt like Venezuela was gonna win I think they judged over all performances but in my opinion South africa & Venezuela should have been 1st runner up & winner.👑

I agree that the current winner sitting as judge was not a good idea because of bias. I know that the Ms Supranational Antonnia is friends with one of the preliminary judges who was also doing leaderboards. And his final leaderboard had Miss Namibia as the winner. I like Namibia bec she was stunning but having known that Antonnia had connection with the other SM influencer judge, that can cast doubt on the fairness of the final judging.
I don't understand what's wrong if Miss Supranational is more about Face value ..After all it's a beauty pageant and Every org looks for something like MW is more about the The charity work and humble personality and MU is more about Fierce personality and Spokeaperosn ..Namibia is gorgeous and it was her destiny to win..She also has worked hard..Idk why she is getting hate 😕

Dindi almost maid it to the Top 5 atlist but ! i wasn't happy to her Final gown , its beautiful but i was expecting more bec. Her gown in the Photo shoots is more standout looking than her final gown.
I was expecting a different gown too. It was beautiful on her but it didn't feel like a finals gown to me.
Some judges were taking Instagram videos and selfies during her final gown walk 😕 they didn’t take their scoring seriously
Face value has a big weight for Supranational in choosing their winner.

Given that the outgoing queen is from Thailand, destiny was stacked in favor of Namibia. There is a connection between these two countries in pageants.

If this pageant focus more about the beauty of the face, then they should delete the interview portion. It's unfair for other girls who worked hard and really excel during the final interview segment (in my opinion).
I think they want someone who looks approachable
Aavriti was slightly tired maybe for her finals swimsuit performance.. I mean anyone would be tired after a dancing session..even if it was a pre-recorded that day I felt like contestants were put through too much in a single day

Miss supranational look for a simple answer, simple and kind feminine girl, they not looking for extra pasarela, the simple answer the better, and the pageant is very conservative,...
miss Venezuela she looks like competing in miss grand international or miss universe,
They look for a girl that is very pretty (ie having a TV-beautiful face), natural, who smiles a lot, is easy going and also easy to work with. They don't want a Miss Universe-type diva. Overall, the show is about entertainment, it's produced by one of the largest Polish commercial TV stations (Polsat) so they want viewers to have fun and also to make money from airing commercials.
