Excellent video, especially the final scene. Had a few turbo failures myself on 47's over the years. It's amazing how long they'd keep going like that to, where a modern day loco would just give up! Miss driving them.

Splendid vid there. 47702 looks like its at Hanwell. She remembered driving that loco lots of times i recall! Also i have a vid by her rescuing a failed loco on freight with a 66 'wrong line' at that location in 2015. Quite a rare event i'd say!!!!

Fantastic spoon footage. Yeh I’ve seen that 47 clip before at the end spectacular turbo failure can’t of lasted many miles after that
