I appreciate your honesty and perspective on the versions of the soap. Sounds fantastic, if its anything like K2e it's already top tier stuff, experimentation with formula aside. 😀👍🏻
I appreciate the kind words, thank you for watching!
We trust you reviews, honest, direct and expertise, compliments
Thank you very much!
Camera looks good Jon. Another informative review. Thanks!

Thank you for watching and for the feedback!
Having let my VIP membership lapse, I have a hard time keeping up with all of Peter's versions. Honestly, his K2 was about as good as it gets, and his budget friendly Pedro Fiasco is just about perfect.
Thank you so much Jon. I’m really glad you liked the scent. The camera has given It a fish eye type of effect. I think I prefer the other, nevertheless the content remains superb. Thanks again
I have Siam VR1 soap & splash and I love the scent. Does Chiang Mai has a similar scent?
@@OdiRithy Thank you! It’s actually quite different. Chiang Mai is quite unique (nothing like it). Beautiful line, lemongrass & ginger notes with a nice dose of a gorgeous coconut note
@@PeterCharkalis thank you for your reply, it is one of my future purchases.
Great review, just picked up my first soap from Ariana and Evans which I believe is the Ultima base
Awesome, which scent did you go for?
Hi Jon, That Cha Cha Matcha sounds amazing. Gonna pick it up. Thanks for the review. Best regards, Glenn
Hope you enjoy it!
Love this one! So the splash I tested was noticeably different in scent and I mentioned this to Peter. He actually resent an updated splash that matches the soap much better so I'd chalk that one up to experimenting haha.
Thanks for the head's up BLou!
Nice job, JonJon. Been looking at this soap set 👊🏼
Thanks Brandon, have you tried any of the Ultima soaps?
@@Latherhog I have not but I have Matcha on the way!
Nicely done.
Thanks for watching Patrick!
I’m not commenting on this video, because I wouldn’t think of doing such a thing. Vintage Green is a scent I absolutely LOVE! Also, the new lens makes it look like you’re in the worlds smallest bathroom 😂
Thank you for NOT commenting Ken ;)
I prefer the tighter camera shot like in your previous videos.
Thanks HD, appreciate the feedback!
Looking good, Jon! The Ultima soap base has shorea butter in it. That's a new one to me and looks to be for moisturizer.
The new lens gives the impression that the further away, the more distorted/curved. Fisheye effect as Peter and a couple others have said.
Have a great trip with the family, Jon! (So, what's your travel shave setup? Or no shave until you return?)
Appreciate the feedback Rob! I just posted a video short on what shave gear I brought with me to Hawaii :)
You’ll probably not be able to get it in the US, but there is a fantastic Matcha shaving cream by Esbjerg, from their Zen Collection.
Agreed on the soap bases, they are all fantastic, i struggle to see someone being able to tell them apart in a blind test.
Thank you for the recommendation!
Great shave bud! I only have 1 tea scented soap and its fantastic. Macduff's cardamom chai. 👌
There is a hint of fisheye/door eyehole feeling with the new lens, but it's not bothersome.
Thanks for the feedback, it's a tradeoff I knew about if I wanted to not appear so close to the camera.
