Not trying to defend qbazzoff there, but just thought I'd let you know that many Russians (myself included) would interpret flashing lights from behind after a tap like that as blaming him for braking too early instead of apologizing, which could anger some people. That's why I personally use my hazard lights if I make a mistake like that to make sure there is no misinterpretation of my actions :)

My brother did the fuel error in a real race. We were racing in the super seven series. I warned him about not filling his tank all the way up but he wouldn't listen. After the race everyone called him tom tank, his name is Tom witch translates to empty from norwegian, so empty tank was his new nick :)

Dunno man. I think you braked a bit too late into the last chicane, you were a bit out of control. Not a big deal though. But coming into the first and second corner complex, he had the line. It was his prerogative to give space or not. But in my opinion you didn’t own the position completely. I’d not squeeze someone like that unless I thought they were being to hungry and pushy. Given what happened out of the last lap, he probably felt you were pushy so didn’t feel like being generous.
I have had a couple of great results in the Aston using this tactic, and being better on the tyres, the 911s eat their tyres after 3 laps so you can push and get by easily
Speaking of fuel, one time in one of my weekly races, around half of all drivers in the race ran out of fuel including myself at the end and ended up with 20 sec penalties. I managed to clutch the win though after the guy in first ran out way before the finish

You have the most backwards strategies lol why would you slow down behind a slow driver? He’s going to help you catch up with the other slow driver who bumped you wide? Just attack they’ll make a mistake or you can catch them on either of the straights your pace was more than capable. Also I don’t think the over fuelling is necessary I use the Lexus myself in the same race it’s very good on fuel anyway I pitt on 6th put 4.8 laps of fuel that’s more than enough for an all out sprint for the 5 laps 2nd stint. All in all good racing though I like your videos I’m subscribed 👍🏽
If you check Super GT he rarely run out of fuel putting LESS than the mark because the car gets so light. Here the guy is putting MORE than the mark. Thanks for the reply anyway :)@@SkullyOSkully
In all fairness you should of let him keep 2nd as you did knock him off balance. You can’t flash your lights then overtake him straight away that’s bad etiquette on your part. You could of easily stayed behind him and caught him later in the lap.
Your tone and sentence implies you are english and can pronounce "sixth". You should get into youtubing. Bet there's a lot of money in being the first brit to say sixth correctly.

I'm sorry that was horrible driving... you way over fuel saved soon as you pass somebody and there's immediately somebody else. you need to get on it and get around both of them otherwise your going have nothing but problems. I agree with fuel-saving but how you did it was wrong you're way too far away you need to put as much heat on the person in front of you as you can without touching them.

I usually do similar to you, but more so that I can push more on the second stint rather than to be safe

Too much fuel. Don't be so safe about it, makes you heavier so slower on track and pit, increase tire wear. That's 3 good vs 1 bad (running out of it)
I'd personally take that rather than running out of fuel and potentially lose the race and the finish line lol
