    Excelent test. You show all needed information. Very helpful. For me is a little bit strange that 1000 upm is needed to get less than 80 watt. Is 1000 upm in real live possible ? Any real values for real live ? Price is realy cheap but I don't see a real advantage here. Only to play and collect experience.

      Hello and thanks for the compliments..... these are very cheap turbines which, as you say, are excellent to start gaining experience. The maximum power they reach in DC is about 150 watts. With rotors of such small diameter they are able to reach very high rpm, in the last test I did with wind not exceeding 10 m / s the rotor was at almost 750 rpm. A big doubt is about the duration of the components that are subjected to strong mechanical stress.

    Pourquoi la faire tourner avec une visseuse et pas normalement avec le vent pour avoir la réalité de ceux qu'elle vaut vraiment

      C'est vrai, mais c'est plus facile de faire le test... le régime est toujours le régime de toute façon.

    Hello I buy a vevor 500 wind turbine from vevor site and the same with you grid tie inverter. I need something else ?? I connect the air turbine with controller and after with inverter but it don’t works.

      Hi Panaguotos, to make it work you need a rectifier diode bridge to be connected to the turbine and then to the grid tie. However, I advise against the use of these small turbines with grid inverters because the yield is really low. There is a lot of resistance to spinning the turbine rotor when the grid starts producing. These small turbines are useful for recharging batteries but not for grid use. Satisfactory results are obtained with larger rotors and horsepower. Already with an ista breeze i700 you can see good results associated with the grid.

      The diode bridge is used to straighten the three-phase alternating current (which comes out with the 3 wires from the turbine) to direct current which then comes out of the diode bridge and is then connected to the + and - of the grid tie. The diode bridge with 5 attachments, 3 on one side for the turbine and 2 on the other side a + and a - to be connected to the grid tie. The charge controller for the grid tie is not needed.

    your drill is too small to reach the rated power, try a big corded drill, easy to find used for cheap

      In the test a rotation of the rotor of almost 1000 RPM is simulated which with a 120 cm rotor is obtained with winds over 14 m / s, I think it is a very real situation and it seems exaggerated to go further. For me it is useless to simulate rotation speeds that will never be reached or almost.

      @@Adam-ow4rt When recharging a battery, the mechanical resistance of the rotor is almost zero, the situation is different with connection to a grid tie inverter where the resistance is very high, forcing the blade to continuous braking and restarting.
