- Today is Hifuu day, and why not commemorate with this day by making a theme to one of the Hifuu girls? Of course, this is a track for Renko Usami which this is by far the longest theme ever made and it's an original track which has melodies from several tracks in ZUN's Music Collection albums.

Oh, God, this is such a beautiful medley: Strange Bird of the Moon, Dream of Arcadia, Greenwhich in the Sky, etc… So many great themes, combined to form this one.

It's really crazy how this is 11 full minutes... I can put this on loop and I wouldn't get tired of it at all! In fact, I already have! Beyond the overall excellence, I love each individual track and all the specific edits that bring forth a different side of each song. Also, the bonus tracks in general are just really underappreciated compared to the main titles (Seriously, G-Free, Children's Festival, Hiroshige, and nearly all of GFC and MA and okay, I should stop listing songs but you get the picture).
It's especially weird to me since the bonus albums are the only Touhou media I have been able to experience in full (I've been smacking my head against the wall trying to figure out how to download the software for weeks now) and the song/story combo is just gripping. I want to draw comics for like all of the albums and turn them into longer short stories -- Merry and Renko are both fully-fleshed out characters in my own imagination.
- Also, why is 12-8 Hifuu day? As a Hifuu enjoyer, I need to know.
