    Даже по этим видеонарезкам видно какой умнейший игрок Петтерссон, всегда видит свободных партнеров, вовремя отдаст пас, при этом сам может бросить с любой позиции, при потере отрабатывает назад. Петтерссон и Хьюз есть хребет, мозг и креатив этого Ванкувера.

    • @Seriously_Unserious

      Yeah, and tonight every 3rd shift he faced a virtual Panthers power play as he'd have to contend with Tyler Myres being on the ice, which is basically as good as an extra attacker for the other team. Take away the Myres Factor and DeSmith gives up just 1 or 2 goals instead of 3, and the game's not even clsoe. Vs the Lightning, take away The Myres Factor and it's a 2-2 tie going into OT (yeah, Myres ACTUALLY scored a goal in the OTHER team's net for once!) but still may as well ahve been awarded 2 assists for the 1st and 4th Lightning goals he helped them so much to score those goals.

    • @Seriously_Unserious
      @Seriously_Unserious 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Actually, Myres was on the ice for 2 of the 3 Panther goals. He didn't go so far as to do a Hendrik pass to them, or a Peterson Pin, like last game, but still, he did nothing to take chances away from the Panthers and cost us 2 goals, and were it not for solid backup goaltending and the 17 other skaters playing a strong game to compensate, he'd have cost us this game, just like he did the one in Tampa.

      @@Seriously_Unserious I wouldn't say 17. The Suter, Lafferty and Dakota line were pretty brutal as well, causing the Panthers to get back into the game. This team still has more to fix than just Myers.

    An important win to build some character and momentum... Kuzmenko, Hughes, DiGiuseppe all doing the little things and some big things for the win.
    Is it just me, or does Tyler Myers seems to be on ice for every goal the Canucks gave up? I don't want to pile on the guy, but there just seems to be at least one or two plays each game where his poor decision making would lead to a goal against or a great scoring chance...

    • @Seriously_Unserious
      @Seriously_Unserious 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not all, but I'd say about half. When he's not being a nonfactor who failed to check the other team, he's directly causing their goals. The biggest character and momentum builder the Canucks could make is sit myres out in the press box and put someone, anyone, else in his spot. Even an ordinary bad defenseman would cost us fewer goals then Myres is managing to. I've never seen a defenseman cost a team 1-2 goals per game before, usually if it's a single player costing a team the game by spotting goals like that, it's the goalie!

    I am still amazed with the Jekyll and Hyde act the Canucks keep performing. There is also no pattern whatsoever. Sometimes they look like world beaters. Then they will play like a bunch of zombies for extended periods of time. They way they left Reinhardt open in front of the net in this game is mind boggling. Myers and Hronek are just brain dead with the puck as well. JT Miller thinks he can pass the puck THROUGH opposing players. It is like he thinks they are not there or is temporarily blind. There are other Canucks who are guilty of this but JT just stands out. Anyways it has been a pretty great start compared to last year. They just have to clean up their inconsistency is all.

    Great game from 19/20 of the Canuck players. Kuzmenko was outstanding in that setup of Petterson.
    However, I couldn't help but notice Tyler Myres was on the ice for 2/3 of the Panther goals, that's 2 in a row now where he's been at least on the ice for 2 or more goals against. I swear, if the Canucks just stopped dressing Myres for games, they'd save themselves at least 30 or 40% of the goals against they're giving up. Never have a seen a single player who's NOT the goalie be solely responsible for so many goals against! They've got 19 good guys in that lineup, and 1 guy who may cost them the season. God knows how they Canucks won any games at all last season with Demko injured most of the season and not playing like he normally does before that, and with OEL, and several other mediocre to dead weight players still wasting space on the roster. If the Canucks can find a way to extricate Myres from their roster, they'd be a far better team this year. And FYI, I'm not normally one to pin so much of a team's problems on one player, but Myres is fast becoming a rare case this season.

      Especially when that defense is Tyler "never clears a rebound, but does great tape to tape passes to the other team" Myres. Honestly, Myres, as big as he is, should be able to at least slow the other team's players down from getting those rebound shots off, if not actually do his freakin job and clear some of those rebounds, rather then just watching the other team take target practice on our goalies until something inevitably goes in.

    And that's what frustrates me. This team can do it every game. They completely switched off in Philly, and now they learn they can win games playing the way Tochhet wants. Amazing what Petty can do when Myres isn't holding him to the ice while watching the other team score on us! Add in Kuzmenko's great assist, and EOL giving us a taste of how it used to be, on Kuzmenko's winner.

    Glad we got the win but I almost prefer it when the Canucks go into the third tied or down one. 2 goal lead or less they stop playing offensively every single time and go into this defensive shell which they are atrocious at and constantly blow the lead. Shots were 16-2 or even worse before Florida finally tied it and then Vancouver finally started playing again and put the game away. If they had just kept playing the way they had in the first two periods they wouldn't have come this close to blowing another one. That said good job responding after Florida tied the game.

    • @Seriously_Unserious
      @Seriously_Unserious 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Take a closer look. Vs the Lighting, Tyler Myres could have been awarded 2 assists for his efforts in helping the Lighting score 2/4 goals, (tape to tape pass to a Lighting for the 1st, and pinning Peterson to the ice to give the Lighting both the puck and the man advantage long enough to score the 4th and winning goal. Tonight he was on the ice, being a nonfactor watching 2/3 Panther goals go in. How does a team defend when one player who's not even the goalie can manage to spot the other teams so many goals each game?

    Barkov has some slick hands, this dude has been terrorizing goalies in the East. DeSmith has seen his colleagues get embarrassed on the short side, thats why he gave it to him and then committed so hard.
    Barkov just makes it look easy

    • @Seriously_Unserious
      @Seriously_Unserious 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      While that may be true, in this case, it was only Tyler Myres he beat, and a baby crawling to his mommy could beat Myres. You should have seen him vs the Lightning. A perfect Hendrik Sedin line pass right to the tape of a Lighting, -1. He got it back with a blast, but then pinned Peterson after knocking the puck loose to the Lighting, who got a 2 man advantage from Myres pinning our best player to the ice. back to -1, and that was the winning goal. Pretty much been par the course for Myres for the last few seasons.

      It's a team with Tyler Myres on it. Only way they're gonna win until they finally ditch the black hole is to steal ones back from Myres' mistakes. Never seen a DEFENSEMAN cost a team 1 or 2 goals so consistently before. Usually only a goalie can manage that!

    Florida's arena sounds like a morgue unless an original six team is there. Whenever an original six team visits Florida it's an opposing fan takeover. The Panthers are off to a 2-3-0 start but keep in mind they were plodding along for most of last year. They had a six game winning streak towards the end of the regular season that catapulted them into the playoffs and then they went on a crazy run. But I do think they will take a step back because of the fact they were playing hockey until mid June. When you play that many games it drains you physically and mentally. Also Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour haven't played yet this year and Ekblad is on LTIR so defense will continue to be a problem for them.

    • @snowyrain5730

      Vancouver had a Professional hockey team 2 years before the NHL even existed.
      They also won the Stanley Cup that year (1915)
      So... all this talk of "original six" needs to be put to bed. That was almost 30 years later!
      The team Vancouver beat was the Ottawa Senators just FYI.
      Another REAL "original" team.
      BTW, "Stanley Park" in Vancouver was named after (and opened by) Lord Stanley of Preston.
      Yes, THAT Stanley.
      Vancouver has more hockey history than almost any other hockey team - anywhere.

    LIGHTING for Lacrosse in general is very graveyardish on TV and has been, if not the greatest issue with televising this sport from the start and is very lack luster in general in a sport that is very progressive. Relective stitch jersey augmentaion for the JERSEY BALL & GOAL would address this contrast issue.
    Arenas are generally lit for ice and possess good matt and contrast and your probabley not going to change all the lights for the NLL. Not every team can be the Blackhawks however lighting the players and accessories would NOT affect play at eye level but would augment the sport for the fans officials and most importantly the replays.
