    They are so right about the environment. Surrounding yourself with like minded people that can push you beyond.
    It's awesome to see Mr. Kennelly back. When I first started lifting in highschool, I remember the older powerlifting magazines with him on the cover pressing insane amount of weight. Best of luck to him and his goals!
    Also thanks for posting all the videos Chris! They have been very helpful, and as soon as I'm off my college budget I'll be looking to get that shoulder rok! I think it would help me out in both my training and sport tremendously.

    He should chase 722 at some point as well. I feel like he was more than capable back in the day. Looking massive.

      I agree man, coulda had a run at it if he trained more raw. He's moved 685 like butter

    • @beyondonethousand
      @beyondonethousand 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Nick Bates
      Not like butter. Reviiew that lift again please. Touch and go if not slam n go.

    • @nickbates6429
      @nickbates6429 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Beyond 1000. So? How many other lifters in history could touch 685, wether it be paused or touch and go. 3 that I can think of. And he doesn't even train to bench raw. So let's not be haters and appriciate his strength.

    • @beyondonethousand
      @beyondonethousand 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nick if your going to go from that angle then yes I do agree with you. Point taken. Hope he continues to make raw attempts.

    Chris thanks for another good video. This guy is a beast! I want to see some work that your doing with him. I want to ask a question. I read a navy seal physical fitness manual a long time ago. It talked about how to be a navy seal for twenty years. The sudys that were done for the manual were done by Texas Tec. College. They said the key to good joint health was to warm the body up for ten minutes with cardio, like jogging. They said walking didn't work. The heart rate had to get to 160 beats per minute for ten minutes. They said in the cells DNA it is like a thermometer and once it warms up you can stretch the muscles and the joints without hurting the joint, fluid and nutrition enter the joint and the joint then is ready for hardcore exercise. They said never stretch cold it tightens the body up more after because of the mechanism in the DNA. And they said if you want to be healthy for twenty years as a navy seal warm up and stretch every morning and before every workout and you'll feel great every day. I've done it, nothing else works I've tried. You can use any cardio as long as your heart rate is at 160 for ten minutes. They also said a twenty minute hot, as hot as you could get shower works also. I just wanted to know if you know anything about it, and maybe you could try it? You've helped me so I just wanted to throw that out there. Thanks definitely want to see more of the beast so please keep them coming

    Amped to see your return, Ryan. I'm glad you're back. Keep on the straight and true: respect for oneself and others will always pay off! You were my unquestioned favorite, and I'm looking forward to seeing where you go!

    Tiny meeker has the current record at 1101 lbs but for whatever reason nobody really cares about tiny bc they prefer the personality of kennelly or mendelson.
    I don't think he could beat spoto but I'd love to see how close he could get.

    • @dangosh3340
      @dangosh3340 9 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Vanilla Gorilla That's because Tiny Meeker has some weak ass lockouts. Watch the video on that so called world record. Plain horrible that a judge called that.

    • @HumanGorillaHormone
      @HumanGorillaHormone 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      AAAAAA5XXL I dont even recall the last time I saw Mendelson successfully hit a heavy bench. However, he sure fails with heavy weights lol. I honestly dont know what the hell he's doing most of the time.
      It would be scary if Spoto took 2 years to bulk up and focus on shirted benching. Id imagine he beats the record by over 100lbs.

    • @aaaaaa5xxl408
      @aaaaaa5xxl408 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i disagree again, i dont think so that a strong raw benchers equals a strong geared presser. The geared bench is VERY TECHNICAL

      Vanilla gorilla I live maybe 20 mins from tinys gym in kingwood. Met him a few times. Most of his old clients just think he's a douche...he kind of is...jokes around alot and that's why some think that the power lifting world doesn't pay attention. I remember one of these guys telling me tiny had posted a video of him breaking Scott's record (back when he had the WR) but it was an April fools joke....needless to say Scott was PISSSSED. Stuff like that.
