i’m sorry, there was no naveen the whole ride until the end and he wasn’t ever even a frog?? neither was tiana??? also WHERE WAS SHADOWMAN?!!?! i’ll always be upset they changed splash mountain in the first place, but this just looks 👎👎
The more I watch the POVs, it just feels like a disappointment. It’s pretty much lacking the adventure. I mean it’s not called Tiana’s Bayou Party it’s called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Where’s the thrill, the anticipation of the thrill, and acceptance of the thrill after that’s the adventure not this bash. It’s like that they aren’t even trying to make an adventures because it terrifies them because they lack creative touches to make it successful. Apparently the only thing that they are good at is making a party when it counts, but no matter what Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is basically a downgrade no matter on what coast. Sure, the Disneyland version is a little better, but compared to Splash Mountain Splash Mountain will always win because people will always come back to it. Just you wait, people will not come back for Tiana except when it’s hot but other than that the chances of them coming back when it’s not hot is basically the same percentage as the Disneyland peoplemover coming back. Even if the Thunder Mountain in Magic Kingdom is closed for a year Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will never be a huge draw. Look I’m passionate about Princess and the Frog and I do want Disney to succeed, but I think they just messed up this ride on both coasts. It would have been better if the Princess and the Frog’s ride was a slow moving book report ride or a water ride that respects the characters of who they are. From what I’m getting on both coasts is basically Tiana’s a poacher now.
I agree 💯 on this because it's more like... Showing you around, not giving adventure vibes like Splash Mountain did. When they said "Splash," it clearly stated that you're gonna get wet. I also don't get how they are getting the POV's if the ride hasn't even opened. Like- what?
@@zScarletPlayzYT The POVs are basically for the media people and usually it’s just Disney trying to force people to enjoy the product even though when it does open with guests they may feel dissatisfied that they may have to bring back Splash Mountain. Speaking of that just wondering, hopefully the Disney false protectors are enjoying the Disney cupcakes that Disney took out of the trash. Ok, that’s a joke but it’s kind of true. We don’t want what Disney wants to influence, we just want the honest truth that’s from the heart. Anyways, it doesn’t matter anyway because it’s actually the guests that will decide if it’s worth riding again or if it’s as lame as super Star limo.
Just… underwhelming. Technically the same can be said for splash mountain but if you just go by the musical numbers and no storyline, Tiana’s is weak on both counts. Will admit to a built in bias having cleaned this many times after hours in 2008, but this feels like no charm. It’s more “fleshed out” than Splash Mountain which just had lots of “empty” space in comparison, but just has a thin story line and nothing to really bring you back. Felt like they could have done more with it, but in the end progress is progress. A new generation will experience it and develop fond memories they’ll look back on never having seen what was in its place before

Progress is change but not all change is progress this ride is a perfect example of that.
