My Recovery Story

This is my recovery story. This is an attempt to be vulnerable, and my hope is that the fruit of this is that others will find it helpful. This is seriously like one of the f*$%ing hardest things I've ever done. Just felt like that needed to be stated. Here it is.

What a beautiful testimony! I believe we all have a God shaped hole in all of us. I believe he allows us to search, and fill it wrongly. So once we realize how broken and empty we are, we end up finding him, and finding real joy and peace. I never had an issue with drugs and alcohol, but I did look for love in the form of sex. That left me empty and a single mom of twins. Finding myself married to an alcoholic who no longer drinks now. Jesus is our faith , hope, and truest love now. Praise God!
