A good tip for headshot level is that the boxes around the map and the players are the same height, so if you don't really know where head level is you can put the crosshair on one of your teammates heads or try aiming at the top border of the boxes
A word to the community: I have a 40+ headshot percentage every act (which is like top 4%ish) and yet I play support so I have just about the lowest damage per round in the game. I'm always IGLing and facilitating kills for my teammates, and that's how I win games (I was diamond 1 last act by the way). My headshot percentage is because I only buy deagles when I can't full-buy and vandals when I can. My point is don't always obsess over stats because they may simply reflect your playstyle, not an issue.
@@cwerfatw i 100% disagree, having a high headshot % means ur aiming mainly for heads which means you have a lower ttk compared to all body shots like an 8.8%.

You might be losing to level 20's due to smurfs, or long time fps players coming to Valorant. Have you played any MOBA games? If so, when you look at the map, imagine there's a fog of war anywhere that your team doesn't have info. If there's ever a gap in your defense, imagine an enemy is able to push up in that area to stop yourself from being surprised. Another thing would be record your gameplay if possible, there are plenty of programs that will let you record matches without a crazy performance hit. Then watch your gameplay back, and try to understand why you died, and what you could've done differently. (Did you hear a footstep flank and not react? Did you hear a footstep after they tap the bomb so you know they aren't defusing? Did someone walk-push up something that you had no info on but you didn't take into account you had no info on it? Just pick one thing you are weak on, and work on just that for a day :) you got this!

I don’t understand why this is happening to me. It would be great if I got some help/coaching. Jay#trash
Perhaps you are just being outplayed by players better than you, which is completely fine. If they are beating you try and understand what they are doing that you are not? Perhaps it may be the angle you are holding is too common, or they are pre-firing each angle, or just that you peeked into something you shouldn't have. Its hard to say what you may be doing wrong, but if you think and watch carefully at how you play, you should improve. Whenever you die, without ONCE blaming your teammates, just think of how you could have played or tried to outplay that fight to avoid dying. Continue doing this and you'll improve. Other things you may need to look at are: - Raw and Game / Passive Aim - Strafing / Movement / Peeking / Clearing, anything mechanical - Learn a singular agent, for me it was Omen and I love him a lot
hey jollz!!! i’m selina#8948 and right now i’m bronze 2, i just looked at my tracker and found that i have like 100 DPR and a .7 KD ratio which is hilarious. i basically only five stack with my friends and sometimes i think that this comes from them just winning the entire round without me (this happens often as almost all of them have played more than me so they kinda cracked!). my win rate (57%) and headshot ratio (18%) def don’t match those two stats, so i was wondering if there was a way to get them up? i don’t have a lot of hours in competitive on the game, and would like general tips on how to play. i’m not looking to climb, just to get better. :) thank you!!

Wolfie#3553 Hey Jollz, I recently ranked up to diamond 2, I was pretty much stuck g3-p1 for some time, but I'm not sure what was or still is the problem besides me not queueing much ranked. There are a few problems that I can already observe but I don't know to fix them myself. It's mostly how and when I peek angles, my repetetiveness during rounds, crosshair placement while holding angles, utility usage and decision making. Of course there is a lot of other problems but those are what I can think of off the top of my head, I would love to hear what you have to say about my gameplay and hopefully I'll learn from it ❤

Sometimes yes. Probably because you know that when u are playing ranked, u have a lot more mental pressure as if you have when playing deathmatch.
I thing i should have some coaching because im silver 2 47/100 rr not my main my main is comp banned till july 7 but i think i can get gold
my teammates always yell at me when I say hey can you ping it, they say "well you placed it so you should know everything about it"
does playing neon decrease headshot % because of her ult? I have about 17% but idk if I should be worried about it if neon plays fast and crazy and has an ult that spams body shots.
Is 30% hs rate for a s2 good?? i have met plats with 21% and stuff
I got a question guys, if the enemies all play vandal, isnt it better to just get small shield? 4 shots needed for full shield and 4 for small shield, hs is instant anyways? (Diamond player)
what is the SUB alert song?
What is the name of the Sub music?
a good tip for people trying to get a higher rank, generally you dont want the enemy team to have a reyna dropping 40+ in a comp 👍
Hi jollz, I placed plat 1 but managed to get gold 2 and I’m on a big losing streak which happens everytime I play. At the moment I am on a 8 game losing streak and I’ve come across this at the the end of last act too, I was gold 3 and I also had a similar issue where I lose games constantly.
Other things you may need to look at are:
- Raw and Game / Passive Aim
- Strafing / Movement / Peeking / Clearing, anything mechanical
- Learn a singular agent, for me it was Omen and I love him a lot

I subscribed man - I'm up for that free radiant coaching & i'd be down to pay eventually.
i have a headshot % of 34 and im s3 is that good?
I dont know if this is bad or good but i have a 41 hs percentage and 57 percent with the vandal
Bro I have a 20% headshot and I’m still bronze 2 deranked from high bronze 3, what am I doing wrong?
hey jollz!!! i’m selina#8948 and right now i’m bronze 2, i just looked at my tracker and found that i have like 100 DPR and a .7 KD ratio which is hilarious. i basically only five stack with my friends and sometimes i think that this comes from them just winning the entire round without me (this happens often as almost all of them have played more than me so they kinda cracked!). my win rate (57%) and headshot ratio (18%) def don’t match those two stats, so i was wondering if there was a way to get them up? i don’t have a lot of hours in competitive on the game, and would like general tips on how to play. i’m not looking to climb, just to get better. :) thank you!!
I don't know what the fuck is going on with me, I started playing pc end of e5 act 2 and I went from bronze 3, 13.5%hs 0.95kd on 1600dpi 0.45 to act 3 7.9%hs 0.88kd 1600 dpi 0.23, because I was told that high sens is bad, I really want to get to silver/gold, coming from xbox I'm so used to being plat level in games and I know they say a console plat is like a pc silver, I know I'm not doing "bad" for someone who's only 2 months in but I'm still not where I would like to be
Oh hope the vid title isn’t misleading my hs percentage is horrible
here before joe
can i ask for song of sub
Cosplay silco?
See my man the strafing only works to avoid headshots. In lower brackets it does nothing, everyone aims at your chest. :) Every time I miss a head shot and I try to strafe away the enemy gets me with 1 leg and 3 body shots :)
13:00 i aim to achieve that kind of accuracy
My HS percentage is 32% and i thought , im the worst player in the game based on hs percentage . Glad people are much terrible than me . i have natural head level crosshair placemt always so i am fine , i just need a bit coaching on decision making .
what if i only use the odin
My headshot percentage is 14% so far this act but it’s 19 with the phantom and 26 with the vandal. I have a 1.3kd and a 60% win rate. Why does that 14% seem off?
Do you use an OP ?
@@Nic-te3vq Not much. My HS% is low on spectre, but I don't use it much either
i have a 17% hs rate, but this is because, im a evil op kj who ops every game
is 24 hr good for silver 1
When I wanna go to head level I just use my teammates and put my crosshair on their uead
im asc 2 rn with a 13% i dont even know how i got ascendant
0:51 and I'm silver 3 and I have
160dmg/round
20%hs
1.02K/D
At 8:37 she should've gotten that Reyna pick and then IMMEDIATELY backed out and ran around to tunnel. Good try though.
How to see headshot percentage??
Can someone gimme the website used to check our stats 🥲like the hs% etc. Don't judge, I'm new to this game 😭

man Silver looks tough. Half of the issue is team mates griefing
I need coaching bc I play better than a silver no hate I just need coaching on pushing on to a site and defending
Man I rlly want to get coached but I am broke I don’t have any money
I crouch more than a kamikaze pilot commits to ramming battleships :(
Wolfie#3553 Hey Jollz, I recently ranked up to diamond 2, I was pretty much stuck g3-p1 for some time, but I'm not sure what was or still is the problem besides me not queueing much ranked. There are a few problems that I can already observe but I don't know to fix them myself. It's mostly how and when I peek angles, my repetetiveness during rounds, crosshair placement while holding angles, utility usage and decision making.
Of course there is a lot of other problems but those are what I can think of off the top of my head, I would love to hear what you have to say about my gameplay and hopefully I'll learn from it ❤
Yo jollz
I have 20% of headshots on bronze 3 but I get 1 tapped every times
My headshot % is only 15-20 because I play op so much and only hit bodies
the headshot % be me
