I only needed the mushroom cap and didn't want to add the white details cause simplicity BUT I don't know why people are saying they don't understand the pattern. It's nothing too difficult and I think you were pretty clear about what to do. I substituted the waistcoat stitch for single crochet as you said we could do in the beginning of the video and the rest was easy to follow through. And I'm no pro-crocheter. I learnt to crochet almost exactly a year ago and even then my works are small and very few and far in-between. And if it's the waistcoat stitch that's giving people trouble, they're already on youtube, they could easily watch another tutorial. I did and decided I didn't want to go through the hassle of finding the posts of my single crochets. P.S. The cap turned out absolutely beautiful and exactly like I wanted and the holes for the string of the pouch to pass through made everything look so much more professional. Thank you. P.P.S. I get it if beginners don't get it cause you need to know where to put the stitches and so on but come on, there are people claiming to have been crocheting for years and saying they don't get it. If you've really been croceting for years, you should know where to put the stitches.
loved this pattern! i used a 4 mm hook to make up for having tighter tension and it came out great :) i don’t understand why people have to be so rude if they themself don’t understand something. great tutorial ❤️
i love this stitch so much i’ve made mushrooms in the past and this has given me the best outcome. thank you so much for posting. don’t let meanyheads get you down deary. ❤
Ex cli Excellent tutorial, thank you I have many friends that will love this as a gift ,well done and thanks, oh I'm a beginner at crochet an I could follow easily
For those confused like I was when it came to the base, in order to have 12 stitches you have to put to 2 stitches for every stitch. Basic math. 1 22 1 22 equals 10
for anyone doing this i suggest using a tiny piece of a different color yarn on and use it as a round marker. so u can keep track of where ur round starts! this helped me a lot:)
good:) I used a 3.5mm hook (and same size yarn) and it turned out big enough to hold a mini clipper lighter. I made it as a gift for a friend and she loved it. Thank you
Hopefully I’m doing it right but this pattern was super easy to follow! I looked at the written one bc I’m at work but it was nicely written and the pictures helped a ton :)
@bujostuff2566 could you please explain how I’m supposed to all of a sudden alternate sc and ch space when the stitch count is even without adding an extra stitch or completely skipping over a stitch. For rounds 7-12
@@thecrafterscauldron gee, so dramatic. You could just try to explain better and that s it, no one said anything as absurd as what you did. Ppl are just confused cause it s a very hard pattern to follow bc of the type of stitch that s needed

I've made this pouch for a friend and I loved it!!! I had to change the cap a bit since I used fussy yarn for the first time and couldn't really see my stiches, so I just went with the flow. It turned out so cute. I'm definitely going to make more!! Thank you for sharing this pattern ;)
This is just a pattern. If you want crochet tutorials, learn how to do basic stitches first then come back to this and it’ll make perfect sense. Calling this is a “tutorial” isn’t really the right word
i cant find the way she made the lanyard part anyone can find it & send me the time stamp??? otherwise its great i just adjusted the 2nd round on the body to be increase all the way around cuz the number of stitches wasnt adding up right the way it was in the video.
i really appreciate the tutorial, but I think it would be better to show what you are doing a bit more crearly, especially during the base part i was very confused and i couldn't figure out what you were doing. Maybe have the camera a bit closer and explain the stiches more.
I was able to make these without any problem so please if anyone has questions on the pattern or trouble understanding pls write a reply w it and i can help you? Thank you so much for this tutorial to this creator, and im absolutely sorry over how people are treating you in the comments, I'd feel horrible if anyone said these to me :/
@@dapbrat hello! So its an alternative to a single crochet, it just changes where you insert your hook, I recommend searching it on the youtube search bar and theres a few good tutorials on it that are more visible :]
@@dapbrat you don't need to do a waistcoat stitch. At the beginning of the video she says you can just replace them with single crotchets. I used single crotchets and it turned out great, also made it much easier for me.
if you’re confused watching this, you might just need more experience? she could’ve been more concise and show close ups, but if you’re working along with her i can’t see how you end up with a different end product. just go slow, use stitch markers for the first stitch of each round, and you’ll get it i promise
I’ve been crocheting for 30yrs and for some reason this tutorial was so confusing to me 😂 you are not alone
What size of yarn and hook did you use please?

That's what I was thinking 😂
Forreal, like where does it look like it’s pronounced wesskit

Am I losing my mind or is there only 9 on round 2 of the stem?
I just made this & it is ridiculously cute! Thank you for sharing! Mushroom 🍄
also i am brand new to crochet and found this to be just fine to follow 🤷🏽♀️

Sorry it is very hard to see and understand
Round 2 of the lighter body makes no sense.
Round 2 of the body makes zero sense. You need to start with 8 sc for it to make sense
it’s hilarious that you made a confusing video tutorial to try to make people buy your pattern💀
the patterns are literally free lmfao
Bad tutorial, good design
most confusing tutorial ever lol
buy the pattern, you'll understand the video then. its in depth
This tutorial is really way too fast and it’s not very clear to see what’s going on imo
