    I have so much respect and love for you, and the entire Jewish community
    Though I am not Jewish, I do honor and respect the Sabbath. Sending you endless Love

    I wanted to share a product we use to clean laundry and dishes that enables us to show kindness and be good stewards of the Earth. I have discovered laundry detergent sheets, and dishwasher tablets. They have no petroleum and no plastics/micro plastics. I live how I can care for my family and the Earth that they will inherit. I’m not certain what products you have available in Canada, but since there are several good choices I am certain one will be perfect for you should you choose to explore. Thank you for your uplifting videos. ❤️

    I've found a strong solution of white vinegar and hot water is great for taking the soap scum off the shower curtain, tub, and bath mat! Do exactly what you did, but use vinegar instead of bleach. It works even better if you use cleaning vinegar, which is 10% acetic acid instead of the usual 6%

    My cleaning tip would be to add the shower liner and non-slip mat to the washing machine! You can add the shower liner in when you wash the shower curtain, and the non-slip mat can be cleaned in the washing machine easily if you add in the cloths you use to clean. Adding a towel in with the showerline and shower curtain will cause just enough friction to lift up anything dirt, mold, or mildew on them.

  • @cramperella
    @cramperella ปีที่แล้ว

    I put my shower mat and shower curtain in the washing machine and use a tiny bit of laundry soap and a cup of vinegar to wash them using hot water. The washer handles them just fine.

    I have to have people to help my tidy up due to my limited mobility. But I am with you on cleaning a toilet. I insist on using paper to clean them. The thought of reusing a cloth that could go on other surfaces just does not sit well. It is why I hate the idea of toilet brushes as well.

    I really appreciate these kinds of videos and I know why… firstly you make it realistic not like TH-camrs these days who make everything perfectly aesthetically pleasing not with the goal to inspire others necessarily… you appreciate the small things in life such as the birds outside your window and your iced coffee the main focus is not a huge gorgeous kitchen but the accomplishment of caring for your home and your loved ones!

    Non negotiable is my cat's litterboxes and my dishes and packing lunches for the work week.. I feel you about the toilet. I use reusable for everything but that! While not Jewish, I took value my time in spiritual study in the morning is the key to a good day for me too! I am really off when I miss that sacred time for myself in the morning - cause once my day starts, its 100 percent crazy until the end of the day

    I have a curious question if you don’t mind? You were feeding the birds and a though entered my mind as you have never mentioned, that I have heard from the videos I’ve seen, can you have pets in the house, like a cat or a dog? Generally just curious, hope you don’t mind. And thank you for the prayer you are very sweet and kind. Love from Vancouver BC❤

    • @frumitup
      @frumitup  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lyn,
      It is a very valid question
      usually as orthodox Jews we do not have cats and dogs as pets as you know, they do clean themselves including their private parts with their tongue and therefore afterwards they lick their fur, and it causes an issue as they become obviously carrier of faecal matters and urine on their coat so to touch them or even have them around when we are praying when they are not fully clean, would be an issue. I hope that it helps and I hope it answers why we have , wild birds as our “pets”

    To be Jewish, you need to be rich. Separate fridges and utensils. Dosen't seem the Abrahamic way. But you bring joy surprisingly. Very organised. Very committed. Love the ritual commitment. May Allah bring success to your TH-cam project. Fantastic viewing.

      Thank you for your comment
      If I may: you can easily use dollar store plates and utensils and often pots and pans come in a set/ part of the set are to be used for milk and some for the meat it’s not much more expensive than a regular kitchen costs!
      Also if you are vegan or vegetarian: on need for 2 sets
      As per separate fridges: we do not have separate fridges ❤️
      In a nutshell thank you for seeing how happy it makes me to follow the laws of G.od found in the Torah
      Stay blessed cousin

      Join the club-my husband has been incarcerated for the past 3 1/2 years, and between the pandemic isolation, trying to make ends meet (no small task when you only qualify for minimum-wage work), raising our two children (one’s in high school, the other’s in college), taking care of the housework and yard work on my own, caring for my aging parents (Mom died in January and I’m still helping Dad with chores in their house because his knees are shot), and keeping my husband’s mind occupied and morale up all by myself (there is _no_ support group for families in our situation where I live!), I’m beginning to stagger under the weight. I’m trying to include more self-care, but I’m nowhere near as consistent as I need to be yet and the demands on my time have yet to let up!

    • @joanneperlmutter2038
      @joanneperlmutter2038 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dragondancer1814 Whoa! That's a full load. I fully understand not having the time (or energy) to take on even one more thing, despite that one thing being for your own benefit. My friends and family wondered why I didn't take advantage of weekends because they thought having two days off of work would miraculously give me free time! Instead of adhering to a consistent exercise program, perhaps you could just pray? It doesn't have to be religiously-centered. I found that just focusing on something besides myself and my husband for those few minutes gave me relief. All the best to you, DragonDancer!

    I love Sunday reset routines! I’ve had a week of feeling really under the weather and out of sorts so it was good to spend today doing some cleaning, tidying up and food prep for the week ahead. Feel much better going into the new week knowing I’m organised, have delicious healthier meal options ready to go and most of the big jobs are done. I can quickly run the vacuum around or wipe down the bathroom as needed going forward.
    Was lovely to see all the family helping out to get the home ship shape again; many hands make light work. Glad you had some time for yourself first thing, lets you reset yourself! I love looking out into the garden to see the birds, insects and squirrels while I wash my dishes; tonight a squirrel was busy munching away on the berberis and I saw a butterfly.
    As an ex-radiographer, I always wear rubber gloves and use disposable wipes to clean my toilet! I bleach the bowl a couple of times a week as well!
    Sorry that you couldn’t get that lovely decanter after all.
    Much love to you all.

    I have 4 children and the oldest was 4 and the next one was 3 when our twins were born. Laundry became a nightmare for me. A very wise woman helped me see my laundry differently. She told me to pray for the child/husband/self that I was folding laundry for. Praying for my family while folding their laundry changed my attitude and it became a blessing instead of a burden.
    I will happily send you scrub daddies. Is there a neutral address I can send them to?

    The Scrub Daddy Power Paste works wonders as an alternative chemical free cleaning product...and not just for bathrooms. The sponge it comes with is not ideally firm enough to scrub down the bathtub but a harder bristle brush from the $1 store gets it done. Happy Cleaning!!

    I love watching your videos. You are always so cheerful and happy, so it gives us all a lift. I am so happy that you love birds as much as my family does. My grandson knew all the birds that landed on their bird feeder when he was three. I don’t even know what they all are! Your daughters are so helpful and do a great job helping you. You aren’t the only one who thought Persil was French. I thought so ever since it was introduced in the States. I stand corrected too! Have a wonderful week Sarah Malle.
