Locker Nuts episode 686
After a big day at the flea market selling the first load from this locker, I head straight over to the unit because I need to have it fully cleared out by the end of the day. There's still a fair amount of totes to go through, and one of the last ones becomes one of the most exciting of this entire locker! Let's wrap up the "No Quad No Prob" locker with fun finds.
We'll be selling the best items from our purchases on Whatnot. The links are above to sign up and get a free $15 credit to spend, and here is the link directly to our next show. Join us for some live auction fun!

Love your description of true and peaceful sleep. It's been a while, it's so good to see you and Janna.
You are such a hard working young man. I wish you the best of everything. You are not afraid of hard work. Love watching your videos.
You finally found a PAIR of gloves!!😮😂
I was thinking the same thing....LOL
That was nice of you to give your talk on finances. I often wonder how people lose their lockers and homes! We definitely practiced the concept you shared and are thankful for the lives we have lived.😃👋🤙🏻👍🏻💖
Love your advice at the end of the video.
There’s no doubt you really work hard !
Thank you Jack for the great financial advice at the end. Dave Ramsey model would be a good and helpful start. So many folks struggling with finances and can't seem to find a way to break free of it. The high inflation, grocery, gas and just general living expenses alone are major contributors to having such great debt. Thanks again for taking the time to reach out to others with very helpful and encouraging advice! Take care and it is fun to follow your locker finds!
Thanks Jack..lovely hearing such good heartfelt advice..
The balls are decorative. (Janna probably already told you) They might have had them in that bowl.
I noticed that the two match in colors, I was almost wondering if they were feet for the bowl, but there is a few of them.
I wondered about that too
@@patty4091 Could be! I hadn't thought of that. There seemed to be four so that must be what they were. I was wondering what the balls were but knew they went with that bowl.
I’m pretty sure they go in the bowl as a decorative piece.
Great ending Jack. On the tail end of a vacation and had sometime to watch one of my favorite TH-camrs but certainly my favorite Storage Auction TH-camr. Stay well!
Love watching you and the family ! Ive always lived below my means because have always been low income and dont need so much things to have sitting around . Great advice ! ❤
Maybe I am just feeling a bit philosophical today, in light of recession and inflation. Watching this entire series, it amazes me just how much we spend over a lifetime on non esssentials. Hundreds of thousands spent retail barely adds up to $5,000 in the end.
I agree with you so much. If only as society or even humankind we could stop buying tat or collectables. At the end of the day someone has to dispose of them and mostly they are worth so little and we are depleting our natural resources such as oil, gas etc.
@@user-iu2ny5iq2r I agree with you two :)
I've been ruthlessly decluttering for several years and only kept very few non essential things, all of which have sentimental value to me and take up very little space. Everything else is used, worn etc.
I wish people would buy (and ideally manufacture) less "useless" stuff.
wonderful the way you approach people, you never loss
The balls are for decoration that go in the matching bowl.😊The Circuit cuts vinyl designs to put on shirts or in scrap books on windows etc. You’re funny Jack. It’s important to embarrass our kids or our spouse once in awhile.
That was awesome what you said about the military cuz my son is a military vet. So thank you so very much for that. And it was a great Locker
The balls in the funko pop tub probably go inside the bowl in the same tub, since they have the same color design, its just for decoration
Hi Jack👋🏻! Your words of wisdom were well said! It is so true about your emotions can get away from you when you! Nice job!
Thanks Tamara!
Great video jack loved your advice at the end, brilliant you are a really thoughtful guy, thank you.
Love your advice on Finances 👍 We taught our boys that lesson early and are happy to say they listened. Hubby & I learned the hard way and struggled to get back on track with help from financial services. So glad we did & have stayed out of debt for 25 years. It’s never too late to start
I wonder if the people who were previous owners ever watch their lockers gone through that would be weird
I wonder too. I’ve only been contacted by 2 in all the years.
I thought the same thing😁
@@Joe_n_Sarah they were both a little crazy, to be honest. LOL. That's why I don't initiate contact with prior owners, and give the personal items to the facility office to let the management contact them. There's too much of a safety risk.
@@LockerNuts Yeah you have to keep you and those beautiful ladies in your life safe...no reason for personal contact my friend lol 😬
Great message that many people need to know 🥰
Hola Jack, the green bowl goes with the green balls. Usually, it goes as a centerpiece.
Thank you Jack love your video especially last 20 minutes !
I'm glad you are helping your friend with his parents house .I'm looking forward to it..Also thank you for the financial reminders. You're honest hard-working good man God bless you too
Nobody works harder than you. Truth. ☮️
I am thankful for being worried about money and always having a little put away for emergencies. It nevet hurts to think ahead. If i really want something i try to save up for it. Impulse buying scares me. But if you have the money i say go for it.
hahaha love the hat jack and you look good in it, wonder how janna likes it 😂
Another great unit. I enjoy your going through the lockers. I like the flea market videos best. 😊
I think the ceramic ball that matches the bowl is a incense burner & the bowl is to collect the ashes.
That's a good guess, there were at least four of those balls. :-)
Enjoyed the series , thanks
Hello from Chiang Mai!
Another great video for the end of this locker!
I agree with you, even if it wasn't a "Home run", this locker was one of the best of the year!
Go on to the next one!
If I am not mistaken, the picture of the plane, the plane is a C1-30. That pick thing in the Criccut stuff, it is for picking out the little pieces like the center of an O.
I'm right there with you Jack. I raised my son by myself all but 4 days a month. So my son and his buddies hung here. I took them all over. So being around 3 boys, I totally got their jokes. Lol. Great unit , hope the last of this unit makes you a great amount of money!
Thanks! And hats off to you for raising him on your own. That is no easy feat.
Sad story about the prior owner. He may have lost his job. Which can lead to depression. Speaking from experience, depression sux. Some people just give up. Treatment for mental illness needs some work in the U.S. Maybe someday he will be able to get back on his feet? I would like to think so. Wish him and of course, The Locker Nut family, a brighter and wealthier tomorrow.
I agree. Very sad, to see anyone in that stage of their life, because I know that what comes with it is fear, uncertainty, anxiety and like you said, often depression. But one silver lining is that all the stuff in the locker was just that... stuff. Replaceable, and not life altering. I'm sure some of it has personal value, but out of the whole locker, I was only able to collect enough photos to fill one plastic tote, so he had teir true personal items somewhere else, or lost it beforehand. One thing he doesn't have now is a $450 per month storage bill, which is insanity to pay to store stuff when he reportedly doesn't have money for rent. Hopefully that will help improve his financial situation a bit, and help him move on to the next chapter of their lives, whatever and wherever that is.
You're hilarious!!😂 Just a kid at heart!😊❤
Hay Jack im surprised you don't have big muscles because you put so much work into it all wow you don't stop i respect you bro😊
I'm surprised I'm not skinny, LOL. I'm definitely stronger than when I started this job, but 20 years at a desk put me too far behind and now I'm old playing catch up. When I was young I was a pretty strong kid.
CIRCUT STUFF IS WORTH GOOD MONEY
LOTS OF GOOD STUFF IN THOSE BIN CONGRATS JACK
They are called 'growlers." You take them back to the micro brewery to bring home your favorite brew. Usually has a deposit of up to $20 per bottle.
Thanks for that info! Sold them very easily for $5 each in Stockton, now I know why.
@@LockerNuts New and useful knowledge is always a joy.
@@LockerNuts Now you have additional knowledge and there's profit in that.
I was excited that you finally found a pair of gloves 😜
I was beginning to think the locker was once owned by a one handed person! LOL!!!
Another great video love it and good finds and blessings to you and your family always my bro 🙏🙏
Love your humour Jack. I’m pretty juvenile too and there’s nothing wrong with that x
Thanks!
I loved that ice cube interview too
You are a great guy!Huge heart
Hello Jack. Let's see what's left inside of this abandoned storage unit. Everything looks awesome.
Some great clothes today. I love all the Star Wars stuff
Let's find another train locker. God bless you and your family.
Really enjoyed this locker 👌Fantastic advice at the end Jack
Miele is a reputable German manufacturer of household goods that are very high quality and not surprisingly quite pricey.
Yeah, we have a washer/dryer by them and they are pretty good. Although the dryer is a ventless one, and I think that changing the filters so often is insane. I wouldn't buy another ventless one again, if given the chance.
Thank you for sharing great content
14 hours is pretty crazy! You are so busy, hope you get good prices 💖 Agreed- if you don't use it you lose it!
Good advice!
The Air Conditioning pump is a vacuum pump to put the freon system under a vacuum to check for leaks and then to charge the system with freon. Can be used for automotive or house hold A/C
Thanks for the info!
Been a great locker lots of different stuff x
Rocking that Leave it to the Beaver look 😅
those balls go with that bowl...
You're a good man, Jack
Truly appreciate everything you share 😇🙏people like you help people like me find a place in this cruel world, I always struggled my whole life with finding a job where I was happy until now 🙏😇 , With buying storage units you gotta push yourself when the rooms are cheap and look good, I'm a rookie and had 3 bad rooms in a row but thank god the 4th room broke the curse and I'm on 5 in a row of winners. I am stressed out I haven't been able to sell much since I work alone and with those 5 rooms one after another only been having time to separate from garbage to donate to flea market to eBay . But being patient and remind myself I been lucky and ready for fourth quarter eBay sales 🙏😇😅
Yes, 4th quarter is where the money is at. Right now the most important focus is getting it all listed because if not listed, it won't sell. We've got a ton of great stuff right now, but not enough time to get it all on eBay.
Thank you Jack!!! can't imagine being in your shoes with all you do . Big props and great motivation for many like me 💪 , I tried flea markets and they are tough ,I've had better luck having yard sales , going to have my last one tomorrow and then 100% listing time on ebay 😅 currently have my store to the bones with 16 items but have to set a goal of 200 next two weeks and maybe 500 in the month for a bonus 😅
Thanks!
Thanks for the super thanks. I really appreciate it!
Your a wise nice man bless u
8:12 that is a vacuum pump it’s used to remove air and moisture from copper lines in a air conditioning system before you release the refrigerant from your compressor. Normally used when you perform coil cleanings and to check if the copper lines were soldered correctly.
Good advice...😊❤
You said these storage units goes for $450 a month. I had no idea. WOW 😱
Yeah, that's pretty high. It is large (10x25), but the main reason for the cost is that it's right in Silicon Valley where all real estate comes at a massive premium.
Love the Dave Ramsey Rant after paying 3,800 on a locker just had too 😂 You have a great eye, that one kind of scared me IT did work out & checked a lot of your boxes Neat,Clean, Orderly & Black and Yellow Totes. Happy you purchased it a profit will be made mucho work, also 3or4 Vlogs for us to Savor Over!! All The Best, Hi To The Whole Family! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
I think that's one of the points of Dave Ramsey though, is that if you live below your means and are wise with money, you will have financial peace and can splurge on things you want once you are where you need to be. For me, I splurge on storage lockers, LOL.
Great financial advice!
Valuable information at the end. You are so right. God bless you and Janna, Jack. I got the What Not app but haven’t gotten on yet. So, are there still auctions on here for members?
I like your t-shirt I'm glad you took your time on this one.
Those lunch boxes are just for storing small things. They aren't actual lunch boxes.
Ah! Just tins then.
great video again, greetings from Germany
The black panther toy tin isn’t a lunch box just a tin to put toys etc in
It looks like the green/beige little ceramic balls go in the middle of the bowl with the same colors. Might be a bird pool for the garden or balcony?
It’s a Freon pump for AC units
That green round things match the bowl.
Nice 👍
You probably know this already but that little compressor is used for air brush and pin striping painting
What the heck, I was popping a carrot in my mouth right when you mentioned them 😂
I am one of those people who burn those candles. So don't blow out my candle to make your candle burn brighter
With that lock on the top. All you have to do is hold the handle to the right and then turn each dial till it clicks or becomes loose you then go to the next wheel and try again.
It does work.
TH-cam lock picker.
'Lenticular' Black Panther T. Don't worry though. I would say many things a little off, if I did what you do. You are a favorite at my house. Thank you
you did good on locker
Yeah, it'll turn a nice little profit, but not a home run when the cost was so high. I'd buy it again, if given the chance for a do-over.
Love your shirt.
2 totes and a pretty kitty
Cricut supplies in whatnot please!!
Here at the end where you speak of the man who had the locker, I wonder if he had not lost his family through some event? Either way it is sad to hear 😞
Bring those Realistic speakers to the better market Jack or list them privately....I guarantee there will be a buyer hot for those !!!!
The " cricket" it could be handy for the girls school art work
Cricut is pronounced like the insect - cricket!!! 😺👵😽
Dave Ramsey has some real good tips to follow financially
Cricut, pronounced like the bug. 🤣 And that’s a good machine, it’s the higher end one.
The green balls go into the green bowl
Ahahahahah that hat....but come on...I mean, who doesn't?? 🤣😂🤣😂🌭
I was really munchin on carrot sticks lol
Hello Luna!
You guys might want to take a second look at that cry cut machine you can make merch with it might be something for the kids to do
Camille wanted me to hold onto it, so we didn't sell it at the estate sale, but she hasn't done anything with it in 2 weeks, so this weekend it's going to De Anza to be sold (hopefully).
Thank you so much you are such a wonderful person I like your advice and channel 🎉
You are very very light on your prices the dresser is like a 800-1200$ piece, maybe 200$ markerplace, don’t sell yourself short.
LOL, no those certainly were not. Not only were they not high end, they also were not in the greatest condition. But we definitely do sell our furniture (and other bulky large items) cheap, because those are the first I want gone. Unless it's MCM.... that's another story.
that A/c pump is for reclaiming freon from condensers. sucks it out
You didn’t do the stud finder joke 😂
Sometimes depression or medical issues impact financial decisions. I know that when my health was at its worst, my decision making was not always clear. It's like a fog.
did you notice the ceramic balls match the green bowl
Nice locker and always enjoy watching
