That unknown metal thingy was part of a thing that secures cables going into electric junction boxes. It would have a clamping piece to hold the cable, and a nut to fasten it into the box. I enjoyed the hunt. Glad you found a couple of things of the kind that make you smile!
I’m Finally coming back to start watching more of your videos it’s been a long time, I’m so thrilled to see you are still uploading. I can’t even describe in words!
I remember using those window weights as an anchor when out fishing one time. They worked great... until we tried pulling them up. They stuck in the bottom of the lake, and we couldn't budge them. Had to cut the rope. We laughed about that for... well, 50 years now.
Aloha Chigg, that curved rock at 10:20 looks very much like a stone for shaving or smoothing wood as in spears or whatever. Ancient athletes had those in metal for scraping oil off arms, legs etc. I think its a great find. Oh well!
Great Showw Chigg as always !! I like the bullets myself ! I find them on a daily basis over here in NW France ! Thanks again from Kevin in France and Florida
Hello Chigg, I'd like to see you metal detect the spot where you found thousands of dollars' worth of coins. Maybe there's more coins there, good luck.
@aquachigger Thanks for the good clean fun!! Just bought a MineLab Equinox 540. Finding everything but Nickels. Help please!!! When I dig a signal in the 14 range I constantly get pull tabs. Finding Pennie’s, dimes, and Quarters all in the 25-29 range.
Ive been metal detecting at the beach thursday afternoon, i found trash, but still had a great time. I metal detected at the park, and found a 1999 nickel on the surface.
Most all modern copper bullets are copper jacket over lead core. Not unusual to see the lead exposed on the bottom of the bullet. Some Russian bullets had steel cores with copper jackets. Seen many fired bullets where the copper peeled off the lead core. Many hunting bullets are designed to mushroom on the front when they hit causing a bigger wound.
Just watched the latest episode of River Hunters nice finds over there too. I gotta say I'm Jealous you got to meet Alex from Time Team! Excellent Indeed!

electrical something was a rolmex connector for rolmex wire thats the wire ran thru your newer homes and then goes into a metal electrical box. also could be bx cable connector thats the metal flex with wire running thru it. any way iam not an electrician but i have stayed in a holiday inn .
when is the video of you and Brad Martin doing any metal detecting in Vermont He said you are traveling to Maine and wanted to stop and go metal detecting.
The only bullets I don't like to find are live round drops. I kid you not Chigg, one time I found a dropped magazine full of 9mm hollow points. It had sunk about 4 inches beneath the dirt. Gotta be careful every time you slam that shovel.

The large cast iron piece is a Medina Mfg Co barn door roller hanger.
I love the fired bullets. They were loaded by someone and fired at something, each one has a story❤
Glad to see you're still making videos.

Nice finds, Chigg. That's a window sash weight, very popular until the 1950s
I love how you still get excited finding things that you have found thousands of before.

Large cast iron piece is part of barn door roller/sliders
That Boomerang rock is a really unusual formation for a rock without getting broken! ?
Ready for another Aquachigger River Adventure.
Thanks from London.
You're welcome!
which London?

My house has window weights. Built 1885
Hi Chigg! Just bought three 3 ring mini balls for 10 bucks! Hope it was a good find. Of all places, a dday reenactment up Lake Erie
Nice score.
Thank you sir!
So cold the twins were screaming
I've replaced the cords on those style window weights. They were on regular sized windows, in an apartment built in the mid 40's.
Chigg’s I think you found some fun items, especially the window weight and that old shovel. Maybe put some neoprene on to keep your core warm. 👍👏😀
I want you to make more Kenny veach videos and go explore and find him !
I hope to soon.
Is that a paw paw, Paw Paw? Chig, save that sunglass lens to view your finds.
Double eagles🧐🤑
Good job

That one item that looks like a religious cross or something is very interesting. Did you ever figure out what it was?
5:17 Electrical box connector. It's missing the clamp, screws, and nut.
Is the the BX flexible stuff.
@@donaldpowers3314 It's for plastic sheathed, Romex style. BX connectors are reduced down so the metal sheath can't enter the electrical box.

I have to give you credit, anyone can dig a target on dry land, digging targets in water is not as easy at it looks....My hat is off to you.

Definitely an electrical fitting. Perhaps even younger than you.

What doesn’t?
Watch politics on TH-cam if anything, cable TV hates you. But I agree this is some much needed light relief

As many as I showed, but there were many more there that I did not dig. Probably not actually tons, maybe closer to .11015 ounces.
