I grew up in 90s , really used to wonder how Jatin lalit would look , I purchased every cassette from their compositions hoping that the cassette would have a picture of them alike Nadeem shravan , but unfortunately never saw how they would look until late 90s when era of internet emerged around 1998, Jatinjee please make sprints on the much less talked movies but wonderful music like Lakshya , boyfriend, bhookamp
My favorite song is KUMAR SANU DA's "Tere Pyar Ne Sanam Jaadu Kya Kar Diya". What a composition and superb singing by Kumar Sanu. Always love this song.

Meri duniya hai tujh main kahi is really an iconic song and melody is unforgettable so it is also among the biggest hit. But there is song in movie which is not hit like "Meri duniya hai" but there melody is also at par level. That song is "Tere pyar ne sanam Jadu kya kar diya". Wonderful song.

Yes Jatinji 90s music was really best. Bollywood valued music in that era. All producers and directors were committed to having good songs in their movies. Now a days there is no focus on music. Everyone just wants one item number and movies are not centered around music. I will always cherish 90s decade due the fantastic music we had in that decade.

Sir i am a keyboard player who grew up listening your songs and all my childhood music training is inspired by your songs because although there are many contemporary music directors like Nadim shravan, Anu Malik but your creativity and basically obligatos be it strings ,guitar or flute is way different.All are awesome melodious masterpieces that just got lost in today's music world. So I feel we no longer get so called evergreen music. Plz get together and recreate the lost music genre which we proudly say thr jatin lalit style .....

@JatinPandit your music is like Kishore Kumar voice, it's beyond any specific era or specific style. It's evergreen. Your 30 years earlier tunes are as fresh as todays music while many songs who got awards during your ear are outdated now. This shows the quality of your music.

Jatin sir, Vaastav has another fantastic song - Tere pyaar ne sanam( one version by Kavita Krishnamoorthy and the other by Kumar Sanu) . I love the Kavita Krishnamoorthy version. But iam very sad that such a lovely song did not get recognised at all! Great Music sir! Long live Jatin Lalit!
Thanks for mentioning this… the Kavita version is better in my view… can’t forget the beautiful guitar riffs in the interlude … that is their signature music of that time

Jatin-Lalit made dark thrillers in late 90's sound like romantic films - Ghulam, Vaastav, Sangharsh, Sarfarosh. Filmein dekh ke pata chala yahan toh kuch aur hi ho raha hai 😂 Jatin-Lalit can even make Gangs of Wasseypur sound like DDLJ. The kings of romance! 🙂

That sloke and song Jaidev Jaidev has goosbumps due to the transition of Sanjay Dutt character in the film, talking about music takes the character into different zone. It changed the pace of the pace of the film. Har taraf hai yeh shor is one of the gem, Vinod Rathod what a guy, what a singer. The meri duniya is typical Jatin-Lalit melody with Sonu Ngam and Kavita jee. The tapori song Aapni to nikal pari also fits the scenes of the film and environment. My other favorite is item song that was created and a lot of shooting and action in between "Zawani se aab jung", how did you compose that with story in mind, that there will be shooting and pause and scary way the female will sung it. It is magnificent to be honest from composition point of view.

Sir, aapne ek bengali film kiye the 90's mein. Film ka naam tha " Biyer Phool". Us film ka har ek gaana bengal mein bahut bahut superhit hain. especially " jotoi koro bahana" to bengal ka marriage anthem hai. aur "mon amar ek notun mostani shikheche", " Katlo koto somoy" har ek gaana bahut superhit hai.
