i have blackshark v2 wired, when i set thx spatial as my default device, volume in warzone becomes much more lower that i almost cant hear anything, barely shooting sounds. any idea how can i fix this? :(
I've already debunked this. Startup warzone after you've set up the windows settings exactly as seen in the video. Go to Audio, and switch your voice chat in game to default communications device, if that one doesn't work switch it back to default device. Sometimes switching between the two will bring the volume back up. It's a synapse warzone bug. Should work lmk
That should not be happening. Perhaps you have a blown driver in your headset, or your volume knob needs to be adjusted slightly, I have a static cutout situation with my V2 wired but that usually fixes it. Lmk if that helps!
The motherboard isn't supposed to show up for you. It's whatever sound card or drivers your motherboard uses. Example here is "Realtek audio" that's my motherboards sound drivers. You have to look up what yours are
Could you please help me with the CSGO settings? The sound works good but there is something that makes the awp and other louder bass sounds go crazy high and drags out the sound for ages. Even with the bass boost at 0 or 100. Same issue. Thanks

I love this headset but I keep having this same problem. I can hear audio fine when I’m playing the game , but when I use nvidia highlights and record a funny moment or a cool gameplay I get no audio! I’ve tried everything!!! I even contacted them and they have no idea what’s happening…does anyone have a fix for this ??? Plz reply anyone
I have no idea how Nvidia Highlights work, or where you are watching your gameplay from, but sounds to me that you may need to set an Audio Setting inside the programs you are using. If it's just to watch a replay of clips, it's ok to set it to Blackshark V2 Pro or Wired, whichever you are using, inside the softwares settings just so you can hear the gameplay. Another fix to try if it'll work is to change the audio in windows to Blackshark V2 or USB sound card only to watch the gameplay and highlights, then switch it back to thx spatial for gameplay. Hope that helps!
Unfortunately you literally cannot have razer in the background with nvidia shadowplay if you want audio, I turned off razor in the background and it worked again and once i had it on it didnt work
i wouldnt see why you wouldnt want the thx, it just opens more of the channels inside the headset. best i can do is test this and update in my newest video comming soon

Bro I’ve been having a tuff time trying to adjust my black shark headset (v2 pro) on my lap top I downloaded the THX spatial audio app and the razer synapse app but when I click the app nothing happens🤷🏾♂️ I game on ps5 does that matter? The default volume is too low for me

Go to settings then sound then advanced settings find nvidia container and set the output to blackshark v2 not thx. And for the input the mic of blackshark v2. Open nvidia overlay (alt+z) turn off instant replay and then again back on. That should fix it

You have to configure a music or other EQ to get those channels worked. They are all open regardless, but it's still another synapse bug. It'll just let you adjust the sound area to your comfort.
Gray. Only time thx spatial should be set on is if you are on console, and switching the dongle over to the console. Windows changes your sound enhancements to surround sound by thx, so no need for the synapse software to have it as well.
razer synapse has an orange triangle and is suggesting to select thx by default what should I do? I choose it by default from sound effects and activate it from synapse, but still that triangle recommends me to choose it by default.
That's for windows, that'll give you the best spatial audio. Definitely enable it in Windows as default, then set it off in synapse. It's not needed, only over powers it
sorry but i didnt like the "music profile" from yours, too muddy/heavy distorted base almost for me^^ tried some of the tracks out of my hot electro beast playlist. Thank you for putting in so much work tho. i will test valorant later cause since i installed synapse, the game sounds great but all effects are way too loud, but the footsteps get kind of lost. Also felt like all of a sudden the great HRTF feature for footstep location ingame didnt work anymore (no difference turning it on or off)

Sidetone is in the mic settings tab in synapse, for the V2 headset. You need to have the mic USB dongle still plugged in to hear yourself in your headset. Hopefully that helps

When I use the 3.5 cable to connect the two I lose all audio. Are you saying use the Sidetone for the headset? But then how would I still use the blue yeti as default mic?

The mic I'm talking about for sidetone is the mic that comes with the headset, that has to be used for sidetone, but you can use the yeti as the original mic
I have updated videos in my playlist for more recent EQs, however on synapse startup turn off the thx tab inside, and make sure windows sound settings is set to thx spatial as default. Enjoy

ill be testing with Elder Scrolls Online and New World. those 2 EQs should help as a baseline, but other than that itll have to be manual adjusting. i will not be getting WoW or Black Desert myself. hopefully that helps! video comming soon!

It worked fine and i was finally able to enjoy this game again since i left it 2 years ago The second day the sound is horrible not knowing whats going on with it but still got the same settings i know you only showcase razor stuff but could you pls post a video about fortnite sounds 2022? Or even recommend me a headset that is known to be the best in all competitive games i already spent a LOT of money on headsets so wouldn’t mind to buy my final one If anyone that plays fortnite having this issue too and fixed it lmk thannks and sorry for the long comment
I just got the wired Razer Blackshark V2. Why do you have an extra 2 green dots in the spatial audio modes. Is that because you have the V2 Pro and I only have V2? All that shit talk when I came just for COD.
Love the video and headset....got an interesting use case scenario for you. I am deaf in my left ear, and have obviously always struggled with directional hearing. Any tips on how to maybe use THX spatial to help me distinguish directional sound?

my experience it was not better with dolby atmos. THX gives the better competitive audio experience. Dolby is highly known for good immersive action packed audio though.

knob on the earcup and barely move it till it balances. i have the same issue on the v2 pro, but not wired.
are you connected through the headphone jack or the usb sound card
The V2 pro is wireless, so it's a USB dongle and the V2 Wired is a USB plug in. I don't use headphone jack

EQ from left to right goes from lows to your mids to your highs. Just try my EQ and the profile will save to the dongle
