A lot of people already said don't be so hard on yourself. Please listen to them. You go leaps and bounds more than the average person would for a job. I can't express how helpful, kind, and incredible you are. You set a lofty standard for the rest of us.
Oh my, I can’t accept that , that’s crazy! Refund it and buy yourself something instead!!! Thank you for the words too, I like to shoot for near perfection so it does get under my skin when we can’t do it. If I find out that hasn’t been refunded then it’s going straight into a charity clean!! Madman! Currently 4:15pm I just woke up and that’s the first thing I saw 😂
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning If you won't take it to help cover the loss on this job, then put it toward another community job or an elderly customer that would otherwise not be able to do it themself. You do your best to help those around you while still running a business to support your family. If every community had a couple Sids in them, the world wouldn't be in the state that it's in. I just want to help you to keep doing what you do. Because it is important. Even just being kind to a stranger.
I'm not going to put up with you tearing yourself down like this, Sid! You did NOT fail here; you'd simply never come across playground flooring this absorbent before, and it didn't respond to the usual techniques, AND you were on an insanely tight schedule! All it took was a little time for you to step back, analyze the situation, and then you cracked it, and the playground looks amazing. I'm very sorry you took a financial hit on this one, but hopefully, TH-cam will make up the deficit. Please don't stop believing in yourself and your business!
@synar1011 and @PartridgeExteriorCleaning inspired me to add on to the pile of donations for a job well and thoughtfully done! You totally deserve all the accolades from this community and like his thanks, use this for another deserving client.
As someone who also owns a pressure washing business, these are the types of jobs that make you question why you even got into the job. But you just gotta do what you can and in this case there was a MASSIVE improvement Sid. Also, if the client is happy, then you just gotta move on.
This park was an extremely neglected filthy mess and they are very lucky you saved it, you are a perfectionist and you came the closest possible to perfect under the worst constraints possible, good on you!
Most people would have stopped at the first try and said sorry, but that's the best it will get. You stuck to it and did a great job. You now know in the future what to do. Everything is a learning curve. The customer has also had a wake-up call not to leave it so long between cleans. Great job.
Sid I probably have to come over from New Zealand and give you a bloody good slap and say to you "Stop beating yourself up and get a grip otherwise you will burn yourself out really fast". Sid, have you ever taken the time to quietly sit down and asked yourself why you have over 200K subscribers? It's not because you are the best water blaster in the world, it's because you are so genuine and that my friend is your best quality. Sid please give yourself some grace. That said, onward and upward and as the saying goes just CHILL LAX. Looking forward to your next vid and so are the rest of your subscribers my friend. Sending big love from NZ.
Sid, sometimes we have to accept that good is good enough given the circumstances and the means. You've done a phenomenal job! Please don't beat yourself up that hard! And DON'T TURN OFF SUPERTHANKS - use them for more charity work. 😊 It will make a great difference for everyone in the community AND your and your workers stresslevels. Lots of love and hugs.
On a different positive note: I am loving your new choice in chill music for the background - thank you. You may not have finished that to the high standards you set for yourself, but there is a massive improvement to that playground. It is a big part the owners fault for waiting 10 years to get it cleaned! Surely when the weather cools they could get it cleaned when the park is closed and you don’t have to rush. Although, if they ask you back, charge them more! ❤
Sid you are an amazing young man. You're an example of a true tradesman. You take pride in your work and yourself. Not many of you left in this world. You did your very best with the time you had so be proud. I love watching your videos because of your steady standards of hard work and pure pride.

Well done for posting the vid, it takes guts to show when jobs don't go well. Well done for going back and finishing it off. It looked so much better. No one can say you didn't put the effort in, well done for not walking away. Great result. Just look at all the positive comments, take note of them, hopefully they will give you a boost, not that there is anything to be down about.
It looks so much better. Don't beat yourself up over things out of your control. You did the best you could with the time allotted, and tackled the problems with logical thinking. I think you did an amazing job!
First I assumed the chemicals were a bad batch. Later I was thinking the entire surface was a discount product install and why it will not clean the way it should have. Thanks for your extra hard effort, the videos are always nice to kick back and watch from N.S. Canada.
Dude, ok it's not perfect, but 1) WOW it looks so much better, that now looks like it's not a health risk for kids! 2) It may not be perfect, but seeing you meet unexpected problems, getting thrown by it, finding the solution and ending the job significantly better than you started, is totally relatable and inspiring. Sid your video is wonderful. It is an interesting insight to your ways of dealing with tricky cleans, against a tight time-frame. I was impressed with the outcome, (that place was a hot mess) and your tenacity and professionalism to do the best for your clients. We adore you Sid but please be kind to yourself.🙂
I adore you, Sid, and I love your videos - you do such great work! I also love how you share the reality of your business instead of feeding us sunshine & rainbows. I’m similarly hard on myself and it’s so frustrating. I try to remember that all I can do is give my best effort. (I still want to fly to England to give you a big hug. Please ask the kiddos to do it for me. 💜 )
Sid, you did a truly amazing job. Perfection looks different thru different eyes. You may only see all the streaks and spots that would not come off but those families that go there are, they're going to see a beautifully clean playground.
Sid, the job you did is amazing! You kept on it until you reached near perfection. We know you don't do anything half-assed, regardless of the profit. You are a legend.
I really appreciate your efforts, Sid, and your commitment to the job! You’ll become the local expert on these squidgy surfaces. The people who use this park are lucky to have someone as persistent as you. I hope all is well with your family. 😊
You did an incredible job Sid which is why I don't understand why you're so hard on yourself ! You didn't know what you were walking into and the outcome is So remarkable! Absolutely Amazing. Don't even look like the same playground !
Sid….such a great result! Remember that all I want from you is a video that shows me WHO YOU ARE and how you manage your job, staff, clients and family, ups and downs! And you deliver EVERY time. So thank you! I also loved this music!

You did great The playground looks fabulous So it took a little more time to do. But Look at the results 😊 And Just remember Its all about the kids You are amazing for doing this for them❤
This video tears me up. You are so humble. You did a fantastic job. Its been hard this one but you made it your task to deliver A grade and you did. Job well done! Love from South Africa 🌍
Fantastic Sid! The kids will love it! It's almost like it needed an industrial style carpet cleaner that blasted and sucked so you can wick away the grime and excess water immediately.
Dude, it is loads better. Expecting 2 days' worth of work to undo years of neglect is a lot. You did a great job, you always do. I'm sure the families that are going to be using it appreciate how much nicer and cleaner it looks.
I hope you had a good time with your beautiful wife and children. It is so much better Sid. You have made a massive difference so be kind to yourself. I think you did a great job! Do not beat yourself up, I really feel that, as a small business owner, there are things that you learn from every job that you carry with you moving forward. Every job is a learning experience. If you are not learning from the jobs that you have done, there is no room to improve and grow your business. Crack on Sid, love the videos!
If I was the client, I would be paying you an extra £1200. It is obviously a vital part of their business and having it clean is essential. It needs a 6-monthly clean
If it was never clean before, dirt, the weather and the sun will bake in and it will never come out perfect. But you did a good job making it look better.
Hi Sid, been watching your videos for a while now & it’s clear how professional you are & how you want the simplest jobs to the most challenging jobs to be perfect. Sometimes you come across an absolute beast that will test you & you learn from it for the next time. Dude, absolutely no need to put yourself down or beat yourself up over a difficult job. You went back & smashed it. Much respect dude & hold the head up 🤜🤛
A learning experience! The next time you come across a similar surface, you'll know how to quote and treat. To the untrained eye, it looked pretty good👍 👍
Sid, yes you are too hard on yourself. I love all your videos and always have. You work so hard and your standards are way above most people’s. Great work.
This video shows more than ever how hard you work and how hard the work is. You’ve made an amazing difference . It’s a shame people can’t wait a little longer for you to finish before coming in on the job. You don’t need to apologise at all.
It looks 1000% better! If i were a parent bringing my kid there, I'd be really happy with the before and after. Not everything can look brand new again. But it can come out way cleaner than when you started
Like the saying goes, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. They had let that playground go uncleaned and unmaintained for far too long. Also, some materials are just not conducive to being returned to "like new" aesthetics. You cleaned and sanitized it, which is the important thing.
This was not a loss at all quite the contrary tbf, you learnt something and if you never learn you can’t improve Sid, these are the jobs that’ll make you get to that 1 million pound business!!! We will never stop watching especially when you’re cleaning stuff for children which makes there playtime better, as a dad I take my hat off to you sir 🔥
Was at this place a few months ago and thought to myself damn it's looking really worn out. Looks so much better after you guys have had a go at cleaning it all. Should be proud of yourself
Sid so this job didn't go according to plan, when you made the leap to a solution , you explained it so others could learn from this mistake. Kudos for this.
Stop beating your self up. You do the upmost to get things done and looking sharp. There are times when things are out of your control. So try not to be so negative towards your self. Ive watched you from the begining and you have come so far and you should be so proud as to where you are now. Looking foreward to the nxt video ❤
I’m agreeing with everybody else that don’t be so hard on yourself. That was probably the filthiest playground I have ever seen and the fact that you even got it somewhere looking good is beyond amazing. You are one of the hardest guys I have ever seen so keep on being yourself and give yourself a break every once in a while! Love your channel!
Hi, Every day is a learning day in my book.. You worked out what was wrong, was fixing it but ran out of time. Looks a Lot better than what it did, So i know its not perfect but Im sure there will be another time to go back.. Stay Safe watching from Tasmania. Have a great weekend ❤️🙏👍🤗
Sid this is absolutely great. I know it’s challenged to professionally. You did the job at cost even though you still lost with the extra chemical that used on this job. I’m all on board with this being made into a video and please no apologies. This is part of the job things don’t always go right. With every job there’s gonna be somewhat a learning curve especially for those that are not normal jobs. This job definitely falls into the abnormal job. The difference from the before, and the after our superb. ❤ Great job as always Sid! I am very happy that you put this in video for us. I’m here for whatever you gonna give us. Thank you Sid.
I think you did a tremendous job considering the circumstances. Some things are just simply out of your power, and no amount of chemicals and hot water will do the job. It looks fantastic, and the owners should be really happy with the results. The fact that you did this job for free definitely earned you some good karma points. 👍
Sid. You are awesome, don't be so hard on yourself, sometimes you loose on a job, but see it as a investment on how to do similar jobs, also maybe mention the issues to the client, maybe they come forward to you and help you cutting the loss a bit, Take care
You are One of The Good Guys! I don't want to be an old person cliche, but here goes..I am 60 and if THERE IS ONE piece of advice I could give you it is this- In a world of not-so-kind people, we HAVE to be kind to ouselves - Your heart is in the right place and that is all that matters. Self-Compassion My Friend! All you had to do, was slow down and there wasthe answer.
You did an amazing job considering the floor material, time and how it looked when you started. I thought with how bad it was only option would have been flooring replacement 😳. They need a gel type chemical for it to not be absorbed so fast.
He is definitely his worst critic. I think it looks great and the kids think it is brand new if they even notice. Love your videos even your "terrible videos" because they are awesome in my view!
I'm happy with the video quality to be honest. I know you want it to be the best it can be but don't let perfection be the enemy of good. Also, the light level early in the morning shows what the job is actually like and how much effort you put into these things. It keeps it real and your honesty is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this channel.
Sid, you know sometimes you encounter someone who's never happy with themself, always works 10x harder than everyone else and achieves as much, yet they're always disapointed with themself becasue they couldn't do more. You must have met people like that before. That's you! You've done a great job, you've gone above and beyond, done the job at a great price for them, and used up all your own time and resources to get the job done. Give yourself a pat on the back for having to do such a shit job on that awful surface and still making it right for the customer, 99% of other preasure washing businesses would have said "fuck this" when they realised it was going to be an issue and just left. You are a top bloke mate, honestly.
Is the surface the permeable type that drains away, great for wheelchair users as you don't aqua-plane when it's raining. So would you need to put some sort of matting down which would hold the chemicals on the surface for long? Or is the drainage straight into ground or a French drain that could be plugged before you start and primed with straight water first? Personal as a wheelchair user I would not have used that park before the clean, it would have been so unsafe for me and my family.
If they hadn't been so stingy not getting it cleaned on a regular basis, you wouldn't have been put in the position of loosing money and not being able to produce your usual 100% quality of work. You did an excellent job under very difficult circumstances.
So, random questions: 1. Would an algecide make a difference here? 2. "Surfactant" - like a degreaser? 3. If you add a pH neutral soap to the chemical mixture to make it REALLY foamy, would that help? I do car detailing so I have had success combing soap with a degreaser to make a longer sticking prewash.
Honestly I think you did a really good job given the time constaints. Sometimes you wish they'd just accept that good things need time and close that area for two days, so you have the time. Also, it might be a good idea to see if you can add something to your treatment chemicals to make it more viscous, more like honey. Plus, I get the feeling an extractor that sucks up the dirty water rather than requiring to jet it off to the side might be helpful for spongey surfaces, because it would get all the diluted dirt away once and for all with the water, rather than allowing the dirt to settle in deeper layers again. Not sure if there are devices that can be combined with that pressure washer system though.
A lot of people already said don't be so hard on yourself. Please listen to them. You go leaps and bounds more than the average person would for a job. I can't express how helpful, kind, and incredible you are. You set a lofty standard for the rest of us.
Well played sir!

You beat yourself too much. With the time you had, you did more than it us humanly possible. Great job.😊
O my goodness you did a fantastic job, don’t worry about the video your keeping it real ❤
Incredible work.
It’s not a bad video. I appreciate your dedication to getting it clean and figuring out the problem! 😊 Don’t be so hard on your self.
Sid, it looks loads better! You’ve extended the life of that play area! Be proud of that!
You did a fantastic job!!! It was very difficult circumstances and 💩 that you lost $ but you made a HUGE difference. Well done, big thumbs up mate 👍🏼
Like the saying goes, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. They had let that playground go uncleaned and unmaintained for far too long. Also, some materials are just not conducive to being returned to "like new" aesthetics. You cleaned and sanitized it, which is the important thing.
I think it loos good. You did your best!
Thank God for people like you because you never give up❤❤❤
Stop beating your self up. You do the upmost to get things done and looking sharp. There are times when things are out of your control. So try not to be so negative towards your self. Ive watched you from the begining and you have come so far and you should be so proud as to where you are now. Looking foreward to the nxt video ❤
Absolutely!
Great job! Well done for sticking with it and not giving up! 💪👍
You have done an amazing job considering it was absolutely filthy! they need to have it cleaned more regularly!! ☺️
It looks so much better now Sid. You always do a great job.❤
Sid you are the man! Never give in and I’m positive the kids and parents love the new clean look. 👏👏👏
You always do your best and be confident in your best. No one could ask for more. ❤
I think you did a tremendous job considering the circumstances. Some things are just simply out of your power, and no amount of chemicals and hot water will do the job. It looks fantastic, and the owners should be really happy with the results. The fact that you did this job for free definitely earned you some good karma points. 👍
Thank you for giving it your best😊
Way to go Sid what an absolute legend you are 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sid. You are awesome, don't be so hard on yourself, sometimes you loose on a job, but see it as a investment on how to do similar jobs, also maybe mention the issues to the client, maybe they come forward to you and help you cutting the loss a bit, Take care
I admire your tenacity!!! You did an awesome job! Don’t keep beating yourself up about it. Again, you did an awesome job! 🇺🇸👍🏻
Stop been so negative, you did your best. It looks better than before.
You made a world of difference!
Don't worry about it. You did a fantastic job. Was the play area happy with what you did. I know I'd be happy with the work.
Some jobs are almost unsaveable - you did the best with what you had and you somdiered on, fair play mate.
Wow! This looks actually amazing! What a challenge, but dang you gotta be proud of the result.
Video is great Sid!! Very pleased with your efforts on this one, loved that you still showed us the dark parts. Thank you!
You’re too hard on yourself. We enjoyed the video and you guys did amazing work 👏
A LOT better than it was! Yeah, its not perfect, but you have to do the best with the time you have!!! Keep up the good work bro!!!
You did an amazing job considering the floor material, time and how it looked when you started. I thought with how bad it was only option would have been flooring replacement 😳. They need a gel type chemical for it to not be absorbed so fast.
They let this area go way too long for a decent clean. Don't beat yourself up, you do fantastic work!!!
Sid, don't beat yourself up, you did an amazing job! It looks soooo much better!
10/10 for dedication mate, No way would I be up at 4.30am.
Agreed!
So, random questions:
I really doubt it, just doesn’t sit on it for long enough
The surfactant is a degreaser/soap mix, really foamy anyway but this surface is the devil 😆
Chill. You did a good thing for the community.
Thank you so much!
